Much better game today, I think he needs game time and confidence. I won’t lie after Brentford I thought he was gonna be a transfer regret. Totally different player today.

Was really weird how much Neville downplayed it. It was a phenomenal save. Meanwhile he fawned over Onana playing a few long balls.
Our household is full of goalkeeping, we have these discussions every week to be honest, his performance was fantastic yesterday, this commentator rhetoric, rarely do they understand good goalkeeping and Neville is never unbiased wother

He’s so good. Italian fans who I met like week were raving about him and saying how lucky we are to have him.

I've been so impressed with Vicario's bravery. He has so much responsibility with the ball in this system and he is constantly asked to play difficult and risky passes. Because the fullbacks are so high and inverted, the right pass is almost always a tight window right through the middle while under pressure. He never shies away from the ball or gets flustered. Absolute balls of steel. If he spends any amount of time injured we'll have a much more difficult time building out of the back.

The bloke is calmly passing & kicking from both right & left foot.
There was a time here when people doubted he can even pass 10 yards.

Today, I wasnt sure at one point, if its actually left foot is his strongest foot, almost as if preferred left footed passes.

Vicario still has a long way to go to establish himself, but already made significant progress playing 3 difficult fixtures (in their own right) and came out well

Putting in very impressive performances, while Raya is sat on arsenal's bench. We need to get away from talking about taking 'the cheap option'

Yeah think yesterday put to bed a lot of the doubts about how good he is with his feet. Some very cool passing out against a high press that would've been completely unimaginable with Lloris between the sticks.

I was a little concerned after Brentford as he was clearly very nervous that day but he's completely settled down since then and has looked like exactly the player we hoped we would be.

Fingers crossed he can keep it up!

They're only called 'the cheap option' if they turn out to be rubbish. If they're good (like Bissouma, Maddison, Sarr, Udogie ) everyone's crowing about how much of a bargain we got and how stupid our rivals are for paying more for lesser players.:ROFLMAO:

It also helped him that he always seemed to have options with multiple players showing to receive the ball. Nobody was hiding.
