Be great if he curls a last minute winner top bins from 35 yards against Spammers!
Be better if he does that to put us up 8-nil.

Maybe I’m being too sentimental but Lamela has been playing fantastic football the last two games, seems harsh to just drop him straight away. And Gareth coming back from injury too... I’d have him on the bench and give him half an hour, should be more than enough to score a brace against that lot.It wouldn't surprise me if he starts against West Ham and plays about 60mins

Avatar Bale was better than Avatar the movie.
I can't argue that, he was excellent against Utd. Still think he's best as the central attacking midfielder though. It also depends if Lo Celso is back though otherwise I'd be tempted to start Ndombele alongside Hojbjerg and Lamela in front. My main concern with Lamela though is if he really has 90 mins in him. I see him more as someone who can come on for 30 mins and give 100% flat out than try and last 90. He tends to fade later on in the game.Maybe I’m being too sentimental but Lamela has been playing fantastic football the last two games, seems harsh to just drop him straight away. Nah, would be better if he curls in a 3rd minute too bins screamer from 35 yards on the way to a 14-0 win.Be great if he curls a last minute winner top bins from 35 yards against Spammers!
I mean he’s been back for a month. Can we move this thread to Spurs Chat?
Got to be honest, since he has come back I have been watching all his old goals for us and Madrid and can't wait to see him back on the pitch.
It only clicked for me watching videos of us this season just how much space he will get. He doesn't need to be the level he was before as our forward line is a different level now, he won't be the main fear for defenders. The amount of times we have played the ball to Lamela/Lucas/Aurier where he would normally be is frightening. He will terrorise teams.
If they try and stop him Son will be given too much space, I could be getting overly excited and throw all the optimistic ratings you want. I think if Liverpool don't win the league we do.
I honestly can't see teams keeping clean sheets against us and if it becomes a we score more than you game I think our forward line beats any in the league.
What were Real Madrid thinking?!?
Don't know if it's been mentioned, but he actually has a pretty killer long throw in his locker now. I can't remember seeing this when he was at Spurs?
