Jim White saying that he spoke to a close associate of Bale's a moment ago.

Jim White says he asked the associate 'will this happen?' The associates response was 'of course it will'

Totally read that in my head with Jims voice - he's the William Shatner of the Sports world the dramatic bastard

Let’s hope this happens quickly now so it sends a positive message to all players and potential signing. Almost worth it for just that

There's absolutely no doubt whatsoever Jim White is well connected and he regularly has Jonathan Barnett on the show

I'm half joking - I'm sure Jim does have some connections, but he does love to make out he has literally everyone on speed dial.

I would like to see Bale playing centrally than in wings - thats where we are lacking at present.
Would love to see this front 4:

Kane
Son, Bale, Bergwijn

Bale & Kane could be fluid and keep switching positions.

Talksport - home of know nothing dickheads

Funny enough, one of the better presenters to have come around in this recent refresh of ex-players is Jamie O'Hara. Refreshingly honest and you can hear the passion he has for the game, from the top tier to the Sunday leagues. Yeah, he's not exactly the sharpest tool in the box and says some hilarious stuff, but it's rarely him trying to pretend he's smarter than anyone else, just his opinion, which is fair enough.

We'd get over run in midfield

He's one of the front three, surely

I haven’t listened to it for over a decade. I saw an interview with Jamie in which he came over very well. Not well enough for me to tune in to TS though

Well. All those people who were against this, which was a completely understandable POV, now it's possibly happening has your opinion changed? I, for one, am extremely excited

I have not been interested in us signing Bale before. But in this time for the club, this is massive. It

Lo Celso is key to run the game. Hopefully N'dombele as well.

The difference is, with Bale we have a better chance of winning something. If we win something, there’s no way Kane leaves...
Signing Bale and having him talk to the other players could be the best way to put players like Kane off a move to Real or Barca. Kane is a star as was Bale before he left. But with these types of player it turns sour relatively quickly.
There's a reason there's only one Cristiano and one Messi at these clubs

Spend 300 pages getting excited about Gareth Bale.

Levy announces press conference:

"And now, after many years away from Spurs, our prolific winger has returned...

... Andros Townsend!!"
