Top rated player on the BBC match report web page and Jose also said that he was "so happy" with his performance.

I didn't see the game; presumably he was good today?

I wouldn't say to that degree if I'm honest. He certainly wasn't the same level as he was against Burnley, but then again no one was. He certainly wasn't our best player.

He worked really hard even though some seem to have missed that. I wasn't expecting him to put in tackles and track back like he did

Yep agree. Was pressing really well, which is something I didn’t expect to see and bodes well for the rest of the season...... as far as Bale is concerned anyway. Despite an important 3 points, I’m not sure the overall performance of the team particularly bodes well.

You probably noticed how often he was looking back over his shoulder to see where to position himself when he was in that transition point between the middle and attacking third. He looked highly engaged with his defensive responsibilities and not the semi-interested appearance he had for the first few months. He seems to be enjoying playing football again which if true, will be extraordinarily valuable for the rest of the season.

Worked extremely hard tonight, even got himself a cheeky booking. He seems like he’s in a good place mentally, very good to see. I think at this point him being here next season is pretty likely. In what form I do wonder. It seems likely of just the loan continuing but seen a few reports in the wild suggesting Real will offer us a full transfer. Wonder how much truth there is to it?

Good off the ball which is key. Little touches here and there. His ability is beyond question. Played his part in the win.

Him making the push to regain possession after he briefly lost it was what led to the goal and was indicative of what was good about his game; focused and positive, making things happen not waiting for them to happen. His whole demeanour has changed for the better these last few weeks.

I'm a big Bale fine but he was no more than OK tonight, gave the ball away on a few half hearted runs in midfield too often

He was booked for a hard tackle that they teach in elementary school in Spain.
Which we needed.

He did OK. The goal came about from Kane being clever with his body position allowing Bale to recover the ball and get the counter going with a great pass forward.

There will be better to come from him in the coming weeks. Fulham are a tougher nut to crack than a lot give them credit for.

He seems to be part of the team now as opposed to dipping in and out. They need to play together to build an understanding of one another. As been mention before I think having fans in will elevate his performances

End of the day the goal doesn’t happen without him! Need to keep playing son Kane dele bale from the off and they will only get better! Lamela can be a decent impact for energy levels once dele and bale tire until fully up to speed

When they panned to him on the bench in the last 10mins you could see he was just as nervous as the rest of us. He really does truly love playing for us. Can’t wait to see him turn up against the goons.

I thought we had an option to loan him next season as well (which is the final year of his Real contract)? So I guess it would make more sense to extend the loan and let Real fund a big chunk of his wages also next season.

I feared he had lost his engine a few weeks back or his past injuries would inhibit his body from doing what his brain wanted.

I'm pleased i am being proved wrong.

Bale back in the team is making me enjoy Spurs again. If he can continue to build up his fitness and Jose manages him well, I'm super excited to watch our front 4 evolve into the business end of the season.

Looked sharp at times last night. Helped out Doherty a bit when we were controlling the game in the first half our but as he tired his defensive work tailed off significantly. He’s not in the team for that though, he’s in the team to score and assist. As long as he’s doing that I would play him as much as possible.

The whole team including Bale look better when Reguillon and Aurier play.

We cannot play Davies and Doherty as there is no pace and we just get constantly pinned back by the opposition. Any team in the league can do it to them. I am not sure why Mourinho cannot see it.

We looked so good against Burnley because we played with width and couldn't be pushed up against due to the pace of the full backs.

Hopefully against Palace back to Aurier and Reggy and i am sure we will see 3 or more goals again.
