Firstly, thanks for actually replying in a non sarcastic manner, I know you've filed me under the "****" section but it's good to talk every now and then.
So I have another question (sorry for being slightly off topic in the wrong thread).
You're a world renowned manager, I'm not using world class because your best days might be behind you. You've got a 31 year old Gareth Bale, knowing the type of player he is (because the whole world does) and you choose to play him away to Brighton knowing we are going to struggle to compete for the ball and we have no talisman in our leading scorer.
You're then at home to a bottom 3 club, knowing you're going to have loads of the ball and could do with as many goal threats on the pitch as you possibly can. And you don't play him.
Are you wanting him to fail, proving a point, or just quite clearly dropping a bollock?
I’ve been told by someone very high up in the coaching team that ‘Gareth is very much “not himself’ Nothing new that we as supporters aren’t aware of, but it’s been acknowledged by those in the highest echelons
(Edit. I do get ITK but always go via A&C & Rob. However, I felt that what I’ve shared is pretty darn obvious to us supporters...)
Don't tell me we've been fooled into re-signing Kenny MCevoyI’ve been told by someone very high up in the coaching team that ‘Gareth is very much “not himself’ Nothing new that we as supporters aren’t aware of, but it’s been acknowledged by those in the highest echelons

Sorry to be thick, but is this due to not playing, Jose, or both ?I’ve been told by someone very high up in the coaching team that ‘Gareth is very much “not himself’ Nothing new that we as supporters aren’t aware of, but it’s been acknowledged by those in the highest echelons

Couldn’t tell you... all I got was ‘he’s just not himself’...Sorry to be thick, but is this due to not playing, Jose, or both ?
I mean, i dont think its Spurs fault at all. This is a man who has been undeservedly shit on by his manager, his club, the fans & the media for the last 3 years even though he’s won all these trophies for them(and is the reason for some of them as well). That will take its toll on anyone. I think the problem right now is, he needs to be coddled and loved. Ironically, the man for that job would have been Poch. He would be in a much better place right now if Poch was here. Mourinho is not that type of manager.Sorry to be thick, but is this due to not playing, Jose, or both ?
Ok thxCouldn’t tell you... all I got was ‘he’s just not himself’...

He hasn't been good enough. You can sugar coat it all you want but he doesn't even sprint any more.If Jose didn't want him he needed to put his foot down
But seen as Jose likes these kind of players, it does seem like he was only to happy for him to come.
Im now certain that Levy and Jose are not on the same page with this one.
Levy pulled out all the stops to bring him.back and Jose has hardly given him a fair crack in the PL. When I say fair crack, I mean 90 mins or back to back games.
For sure Barrett would have been on the phone to Levy wanted to know why he's brought him in to not play him and we already had ITK that everyone was peed off with the situation and that Bale believes he needs consistent game time - which I actually agree with.
The fact he’s not getting frustrated mean he probably is finished. Which would be very sad.
If I were him I would say go out on your shield and just throw yourself about. Better to die fighting than leave football at a jog.
What does that mean?
By all accounts he hasn't been 'himself' for about 2 years - he was happy to be at Spurs about 3 months ago, it was all smiles, clapping and cheering from the bench etc...so what's changed?
