Neymar to PSG
Ronaldo to Juve
Pogba to United

All of these deals took days to be fully completed.

We're not signing an 18-year-old from the Championship

For fuck sake have we fucked up another deal? who is he, how have we spunked this one?

He has no information on Fitness or how fit our coaches want him to be.

I think the most important quote is Barnet saying he is closer to leaving than he ever has been.

Just give it time boys. Half these guys on twitter are guessing or just posting to stay relevant.

If Romano is right and Madrid have always been saying to pay 100% I don't think a deal would have got anywhere near this far.

Romano is good but yesterday afternoon he said Reguilon only wanted Man Utd, so he's not gospel.

There’s a few examples of players contracts online. I don’t want SC sued so won’t post a link to one I’ve found. If you do a search and find one involving a PL player you’re see how much there is to go over and that’s just the player’s contract. There will also be an agreement for sale that has to be signed off. This isn’t a straight forward deal so will take a while. The lawyers too will be earning their corn and they never move quickly. Agents will also want to make sure they’re getting their money.

Wasn't Jose's contract at the start of AON something like 43 pages long? A lot to get through, sign off, and double check, as well to agree too.

It’s your lack of understanding on how a deal works. 90% of my clients think a deal is done when the headline points are agreed with the other side.

Why do you think everyone hates lawyers? We ask a lot of uncomfortable “what if” questions and draft lengthy documents to cover situations that never ever ever happen. No doubt some bright spark has asked “what happens if this happens” and it’s a scenario no-one has thought of.

Not a dealbreaker. Just something to be discussed.

Because you have probably written up an invoice just for this advise. ;)

I get the impression every few hours he has to write something else to keep his followers checking in.

He probably means we are paying 100% of his 50% wages ;)

For anyone actually believing this shit about Real wanting 100% wages, imagine this scenario:

Real: Hello spurs, would you like Bale on loan? We need him gone ASAP.

Spurs: Yes. we’ll pay 50% of his wages

Real: No. we want 100%

Spurs: k bye.

Bale: I’m going nowhere unless you agree to let me join spurs.

Real: hi spurs. 50% is k.

If Madrid are demanding we pay 100% and wont budge, the only way this happens will be on a permanent deal with Bale forgoing the remaining £60m on his contract and accepting 1/3 of his previous salary, which is highly doubtful. If what Fabrizio is saying is actually true, we can forget about this one as it will not happen.
Pay him £250,000 a week , then give him the other lump as loan fee that goes to him instead of Madrid?

Its a face saving scenario for them, shithouse club needs to be seen as winners no matter what.

imo, it wouldnt have got this far and have this much media attention without it being a near done thing... it was mentioned in the majority of PL press conferences today... only way it breaks down now is real moving the goalposts on it which given how badly they seem to want rid of him i dont see... hopefully just romano wanting to keep churning out stories on the deal

Agreed and it's an important point here as well. Bale and Reguilon haven't been Romano's story from the off and it's unlikely since he was saying Reguilon was off to ManU yesterday he suddenly materialized a new contact more clued in to this deal.

Man Utd won't agree to the buy back clause, thankfully the player is open minded.
