Are passes to wide open fullbacks really considered amazing?
It's an improvement from him over the last couple of years. Before I criticised him for not making those and continuously over or under hitting them.

Nothing new there one of the main problems of our midfield winks sits in the holding area and doesn’t have a clue how to defend we are so open
As well as having no idea how to influence the attack (One goal, one assist in over 100 games)
We won't get back to having an effective team, whilst he is taking up one of the spots.
Points per game for our players this season when they have played (5 games minimum) - Team average is 1,41.
If you get taken off when losing, and we go on to draw. Player taken off gets loss, substitute gets win, all others get draw.

If I was a pro footballer I would not touch spurs with a bargepole the reason being that if this site is a reflection of spurs fans as a whole then the place is a cesspit . Lamela for me is a player that when playing is 100% committed and when the team is under pressure he can be relied upon to fight to the last . As for Winks he is good enough for England and if he was to be sold there would be an almighty scramble to sign him . But for some fans once they dont like you there is no redemption and they refuse to listen to the other fans that like a player they despise . My advice to both Winks and Lamela get out of this club as there are elements supporting this club that would sooner the team lose than be made to get behind a player they dont rate .
This group of fans are deluded rather than take a player and get behind the him and the team they like to compare them to the best in the world in which case they are bound to lose any argument of how good they are .
As I say my fellow spurs fans where I sit thankfully see in Winks a player that keeps it simple and is always available to receive a pass and has shown when playing for England can be effective pushed further forward .
In Lamella they see a player that for a period a year or so ago was the heartbeat of the team and his 100% commitment set the tempo particularly when he came of the bench and we were struggling he would give the side a lift .
All I can say is if you are a spurs fan and dont rate any particular player dont talk about them as tho they are the spawn of the devil just say this or that particular player is " not for me " and leave it at that .

Welcome to football forums; and football fandom in general. Do you actually think that we're the only club where supporters criticize our players? Just look at Barcelona who slated Andre Gomes so much that he wanted to quit football completely as an example.
There's a difference between more "private" and public criticism as well. Criticism for players is not typically brought to major news media, like with Barcelona and outlets like Marca. It is shared amongst a private spurs supporter forum. If you think that our players actually spend time reading through posts on here you'd be one of the "deluded".
Whenever you're in the public spotlight, whether it's in sports, politics, business, etc you're going to face criticism. It's the curse of fame and success.
I wouldn't go as far to say some harsh player criticism on SC is reason for players to not touch a 100k a week contract at Spurs with a bargepole.. I like that you're standing up for our players, but the reality is they probably don't care.
