Lol who wrote that article?
Think it's Barry Glendenning's rumour roundup thing. It's more designed to be entertaining and jokey rather than truly groundbreaking. He won't have any new info - just summarising gossip and tabloid rumours I suspect.

No idea where he got the Skriniar thing from, though? Don't think we've had a whiff of interest for him all window.

Also he assumes Spence is a piece of meat that can be just sold to whoever Boro wants to sell him to, I am not ITK, but I know Spence and his family are born and bred gooners, to choose Spurs over the gooners, he wants the deal!

Pretty much a nonsense statement because as ever ready they may be to sell to Nottingham, Pence can decide if he wants to continue to wait for a Spurs bid or not.
This is the key part. If he wants to come to us he will just turn anyone else down

Bit of a rubbish story the most Forest have ever paid for a defender or defensive midfielder is £5 mil , they are hardly likely to pay more to Boro for Spence than Spurs are willing to pay.

Even more amusing when you consider the supposed holdup is because we wanted to pay the price Forest were quoted!

Not a rubbish story, a rubbish aggregator being a twat. There's no Spence story, just a jokey line in a summary article.

I agree but it does depend. Like if they want an extra million for winning the PL, and extra 1 for CL win then that’s not the end of the world.

Yeah that’s fair and we do seem to like add-ons!

But if they’re asking for a flat out higher fee than what forrest have been quoted they can naff off lol.

Thanks for that guys, I have received a huge amount of shit on another site for bringing this up, I suggested that I thought that Conte would make huge demands that Spence might struggle with, hence the haggling going on atm, Let us not forget the club is still smarting from the rise and full of Deli, who was and is much loved by the fans and it seems external factors contributed to it all going south. For most of us 15 million is monopoly money as spurs spent 4 times that on Mr Pies, Ndombele. Spence has demonstrated that he is a talent in the championship and with his run with Forest, but when a fairly simple transfer gets haggled by Levy then there has to be a reason for the delay. I do think Spence is a potential.

Middlesbrough are saying they'd sell for less to Forest because they had a decent or high loan fee from them.

Well they would say that wouldn't they.

Yes they did. They've quoted us higher, which is partly why we're haggling.

Wasn't that Boro guy saying that we have to pay more than Forest because Boro feel bad about how much they charged Forest on the loan fee?

Feels like an odd argument. Also seems strange that a "suitable offer" according to some leaked reports is around £15m which I can't imagine us having any problems paying. I know some people don't like it being said, but the one transfer Levy is doing this summer seems to be the most protracted.
