Kulu ran his heart out for the team 2nd half yesterday and deserves great credit. Having said that, Veliz showed that he can perform that role just as well, if not better due to his aerial and physical attributes.

Highlight of the match was when, late in the game, Kulu was on the right wing holding the ball. I was just about to shout “somebody help him” at my tv, when up popped Udogie! This system must boggle the minds of our opponents 🤪

Hopefully he's in an ok frame of mind after what happened during last nights awful event in Belgium.

Feel for the families of those that were killed, for Deki and his teammates, nobody should go to a football match and not come home

I hope so too. I would think that he has a better chance than most given he is very mature for his age. The Swedish players and coaching staff also met up with the fans who were all required to stay in the stadium for hours after the event which hopefully helped in terms of processing what happened.

He was an unused sub in the first friendly game so only playing 45 min in a 16 day period should do him the world of good physically, having still run the most of any PL player this season.

He and Richy are actually very similar in ways.

Both incredible off the ball, very physical, work so hard, close down well, intelligent positioning, carry the ball into space fairly well, but also not amazing passers or crossers of finishers.

They are Swedish & Brazilian bigger more physical versions of Park Ji-Sung.

I like them both and they’re certainly not all about goals and assists BUT I’d like them to add a little more goal contributions and end product because we can’t rely on Son & Maddison every game over the whole season.

Hmm, I think he offers a lot more than you're giving him credit for (!) but his final ball/shot is definitely a little cold at the mo. Think there's a hell of a player there though who will find another level soon.

I think there's a lot more to come from him. So many times today, he was in acres of space and we didn't find him. I do feel sometimes that he needs to be a bit more self confident, take people on, take shots, have a go because he has all the talent in the world and if that doesn't work, he so strong he can just go over the top of people.

Ultimate team player. Relentlessly hardworking and always looking to play someone in instead of shooting himself.

He may not be a rapid skillful winger. But he does his job so well, he's a physical and technical winger. He doesn't rely on speed, but more speed of thought and using his strength really well.

It's all suddenly going to click for him soon and I'm confident he's going to be scoring some serious curlers sooner enough. He's playing a target man role out wide and it's working a treat. Just feel he's lacking a bit of confidence in front of goal atm, but that will definitely come soon.

Thought he was great again today, but he did frustrate me with how shot shy he was!! A few times he was in great positions to have a pop but elected to make the extra pass, like he was determined to get an assist at all costs tonight

Wasn't his best game. Was super wasteful in the first half and had two clear cut chances that he should have took himself and overplayed. Seemed to really tire second half and gave up possession time and time again for the last 30 mins or so.

did everything well but pull the trigger. 45th minute in particular was maddening. cant score if you dont shoot.

Good player with potential yes. ‘Incredible’ , not for me. Kulu has 2 goals 0 assists in 9 games. Maddison and Son are ‘incredible’ do incredible things, Kulu works very very hard, is physical, carries the ball well and is reasonably creative but not yet is he ‘incredible’ imo.

He deserves better than a Park ji Sung comparison though....(,he was a versatile workhorse)

As Agne would say....mate lol

Park played for Fergie in a CL final, he was more than just a ‘workhorse’ it’s not meant as an insult.

I rate and like Kulu & Richy and they suit Ange’s style as they work so hard. Someone like say Grealish for example who is a bit more creative but not as physical might not be quite as good in our system, I’d just like to see Kulu’s goals and assists increase a little that’s all.

I just disagree that he is ‘incredible’ at this point in time. For me, Bale, Ginola were incredible but Kulu isn’t there yet but is young and I agree has a lot of potential.
