Agree mate, slowly looking more like himself. Great to see.

Still would like us to either promote Porro to back-up RW or ideally we sign a pacey top quality right winger to challenge Kulu.
He’s improving but there’s plenty more to go. He’s not as dangerous as I’d like given how much of the ball he sees.

Same goes for Son

Agree mate, think we need to sign another top class ideally Right Winger.

Solomon will largely challenge Sonny but we need 4 top class options, Perisic will likely go and Gil is injured and not proven yet.

We need more from Kulu on todays showing, hoping Solomon pushes him hard for a place when he gets a chance.

He needs to put more balls into the box and also go for the byline more. He was too passive today.

I think when we look back on this we should give Brentford credit. The manager knows what he's doing as he showed in our home ground last year. Playing the 5 at the back and defensively packing out the space we had no room to move or play into. He's a really clever manager and I'm surprised more people aren't giving him credit for nullifying our threat

Wingers that cut inside and pass back just slow us down and make us predictable. His pressing is useful but him and Skipp spent too much time on right side doing nothing.

I thought he got into the game in the 2nd half

He does need to develop a fiercer shot when he cuts onto his left foot. It seems a while since he's scored and I do feel this is a major concern with Kulu and the front three in general

If we bring in a starting-quality RW before the transfer window closes, I’d be interested in trying him where Skipp played today.

Both wide players were tightly marked in the match yesterday and had little space in which to operate.

There is no doubting Kulu's quality and there is no doubting his form has dipped. I don't think it's fair to judge him solely on yesterday.

Kulu looked good against Shakhtar so I don't think he's a write off as a winger for Ange, but it's clear we need another, quicker more dribbly option on the right. Especially against organised teams that sit deep with men behind the ball like Brentford.

If he's got a bit of space to drive into or only has to beat one man to get a cross or shot in I think he can still do well. But, like Son, he basically needed to beat 2 defenders from a standing start to get into any kind of shooting or crossing position yesterday and it wasn't happening.

Think Kulu as a horses for courses/sub option on the right is fine but against certain opponents he'll be pretty useless. Same goes for Son. We can get away with one of them in the side but both at the same time doesn't work.

I still think he's our best option out wide. We missed him dreadfully when he was injured last season, he adds something extra and is able to beat a man well.

He had 2 men on him for most of the game yesterday and still got to the byline a couple of times, he's skilful and gets into dangerous positions.

Like the rest of the team, I think we'll see the best of him when Richy or a new CF starts scoring, occupying the spaces better, and when Bentancur is back too offering more than what Skipp or PEH might offer.

He offered more yesterday than son, and tried to get the ball forward often, but what I would say is that it seems the current formation takes away from what Kulu does best at the minute.

Emerson is constantly pushing into the centre to overload the midfield, but it means that there is no chance of overlaps which nullifies kulus ability to cut inside on his favoured left foot.

I think it's just going to take some time for everyone to get used to the new system, but I have more faith in Kulu being able to get used to it once he's adjusted.

I'm also a huge fan but I think he will miss someone bombing on down his outside because he is so one footed

I think he's a really intelligent footballer, he has a sharp, quick thought process and good understanding of the game. I absolutely love watching him play as he seems to make good decisions almost all the time.

I'm confident he can adapt and learn the different role he's going to be required to play, and I think, as you say, Royal or whoever Ange picks at RB is on the day is going to have to mix it up too and I think Ange will recognise this too.

He arrived late January 2022 and had a good few months, since then his form has been very much hit and miss. I am not sure if his good few months was the real Kulu or the player we have seen for the past year is the real Kulu. He should thrive in Anges' system, time will tell.

Its funny against United he cut In and slowed down the play over and over.
the one time he didn’t we scored.

let’s hope he realises this!
