One of the better performances before the pen but he was/is awkward/clumsy and yes I have an agenda - he ain't suddenly going to turn into Ledley King.

Dier totally crapped his shorts for the third goal, rather than engage he back off and let him have a free shot

Rather keep Sanchez then Dier but the reality is Sanchez has been here for years and has never convinced me.

I'd keep him as a back up reluctantly but we should actively sell Dier.

We have a lot more players to be rid of before him.

Also, his worst performances are when played next to Dier. Get rid of Dier and we’d see a better Sanchez.
Being with Dier doesnt make him lose his balance or misjudge the flight of a ball or fail to mark someone or lose a 50/50 or incapable of clearing a ball properly or pass a ball straight to the opposition.
The guy just isnt up to it mate.
He's not.
He wouldnt get within a mile of a cl starting 11 team.
He has to go imo of course.

He may not be a first choice CB for our team but would be okay as cover for now. He has shown to be more confident next to Toby but seems to be more panicky next to Dier, which I reckon is because he doesn’t trust Dier.

There are just too many players that we need to move on and we can’t move them all in a single window. Between him and Dier, I’d get rid of Dier first, as well as a few other players from different positions.

There was that moment tonight when he had a free header just inside our half. He headed it straight down into the ground! His heading technique for a CB is abysmal.

No getting away from it though, Dier looked completely gone tonight. He just doesn’t seem to have settled as a CB and PEH now does his old job in midfield so, so well.

He also made some crucial blocks. I felt he was the only one trying to defend

Not good enough really but best of a bad bunch at moment (in terms of senior players).
