Genuinely forgot he was still here. It's crazy how differently Rose and Walker's careers have gone.

I thought he was on loan but not playing.

I liked Rose in his prime and having him on the left and Walker on the right worked really well.

But Walker got himself a move to a mega rich club. When Rose was ready to leave his performances just weren't good enough to move up a level.

His contract is up this summer, I believe, but I don't think he has much of a career left.

I definitely think Walker's move had an effect on Rose and helped lead to his downfall, he saw himself on the same level and I don't think it did him any favours seeing Walker get the big money move, titles, regular England appearances etc.

Unfortunately I also think the decline of the Poch team started when Walker left and Rose started to lose form, our team was defined by our fullbacks and suddenly Trippier and Davies found themselves first choice. Good players but a significant drop.

I agree.

I think many took having Rose and Walker as our wing backs for granted. Players who can get up and down the pitch like they did all game long is really rare.

Trippier and Davies just weren't like for like replacements. We needed to then change around and rely on players in different positions to offer us width.

Yep, anyone who ever said that Trippier was a "better fit" than Walker, I immediately thought they were a moron.

Why didn't the club recognise and buy adequate replacements is the biggest crime.

So its got nuffin to do with Toblerone then?
No, but it's interestingly a mash up of Tobler (surname of inventor) and Torrone (nougat in italian), although I would chocolate, triangles, and those little chewy almond bits before 'nougat' in the list of "things I associate with Toblerones"

Have they gone back to how they were before shrinkflation?

No idea - like most stuff, people moaned and I think just got over it. I'm not massively into them, but I recall Poundland did a knock off one that was a decent size to capitalise on it at the time.

@ Sky Sports:

Danny Rose will not be joining Trabzonspor today and looks set to sit out the rest of the season. The 30-year-old left-back was not named in the Spurs squad this term and is out of contract in the summer.
