Interesting quotes from Jose about Rose: "“I don’t have any problem with him. He was not selected against Watford and Middlesbrough. The reason he was not selected against Middlesbrough is we have a young left-back we want to develop and it was a great opportunity to play Sessegnon. And also because his performance against Liverpool was not phenomenal. "

Especially the highlighted part. So he was dropped because he was shit against Liverpool.

The way it should be.

Get the impression that Rose sometimes thinks he’s as good as he was in 2016.

There are a few players in that squad now who appear to be very unsettling. Danny Rose and Eriksen to start. But i can see Ali and Dier getting the hump very quickly. Didn't Ali react badly to being taken off at Watford?
Rose and Eriksen need to be shown the door asap. This is the reason clubs need to bring in fresh faces, that motivation and positive attitude doesn't last forever and new energy, new attitude is needed. I think it's what Poch meant when he said Spurs 2.0 or something like that. A positive attitude and energy are contagious but so is negativity.

To be fair to Alli, I reckon his frustration was more at the fact he missed a chance he should have scored.

Newcastle are apparently interested.. If true best for all parties if we can cut a deal and let Danny go.

I agee100%
But from what Danny has said inthe past he's gonna seeout his contract and then return north. he was in squads/ teams back when he said that under Poch- I hope he goes but we'll see

I don't mind players being pissed off like that when they get subbed, it shows passion and a will to win. It's not like he sulked off down the tunnel.

I think that was part of Poch's problem, he wanted to be mates with the players and when it came to selling them, it caused issues.
Poch was telling Rose he still wanted him and making out like it was the club that was trying to sell him. I don't believe that even Levy would try to sell players that the manager wanted to keep.

I don't believe levy would try to sell a managers fav. But he would if an offer came in

Yeah but if Poch had said "No Daniel, I want to keep Rose", I very much doubt he would have then tried to force him out to Watford.
It stinks of Poch saying one thing to Levy, and another to the players.

So a day after Rose has a “bust up” with Jose, this appears in the Sun...

By notorious hack Dave Kidd, saying that senior players are unhappy with Jose.

Now, let me see, who did Rose do his infamous “I know what I’m worth” interview with trashing the club’s transfer policy?

Oh, that’s right, it was with Dave Kidd. You don’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to piece together this puzzle, do you?

Just fuck off to Newcastle, Danny.

The bloke is done here.

His constant whining and ’feeling hard done by’ attitude Is boring now.

Look how bad he has played everything - as was as good as Walker who has gone on to earn c 160k per week v Danny at 50k.

His career is on a serious backward curve now and he won’t play for a better club than Spurs.

The club have a dilemma inasmuch as Rose has mental health issues, so has to be treated accordingly. If banished to train with the U23's or something and his mental health worsened, that would leave the club vulnerable to all sorts of claims / litigation.
What about what he is doing to my mental health!

We couldn’t sell Rose in the summer because he was our only left back fit.

I can guarantee they’ll be a few brainless idiots who will fall for it.

he can retire any time he wants to, so Im not sure what to make of that statement.
Read his interview where he explains it. At the end of the day it's his career, he's said he'll see his contract out here and then likely leave the game. I'd say that's fair enough for any professional?

Quite simply, the guy isn’t good enough and seems to have grown this incredibly bad attitude. Not sure how many years are left on his contract but I would be happy to see one of those “mutual” decisions to end his contract early.

It appears we have a few bad eggs in our squad again, let’s all hope Mourinho does what Poch did and gets rid of them ASAP.
