It might take a long time to find someone creative like him again, shame he couldn't keep his focus until the end.

Wish he went in the summer so we got a little more money and he left without such a dent to his reputation at Spurs. Still, at least it's easier to deal with now emotionally, what with having got used to it for some time. Still sad though, he was exquisite for over half a decade with us and was a pivotal part of the best Spurs team in many years, certainly since I've been around. Only tailing off at the end of last season and then falling off a cliff this one. End of an era for sure, and I may well find myself keeping an eye on Inter now a little more than I otherwise would have. Ciao Christian.

Hoping we'll start playing better now we'll have 11 men, our first choice keeper and 1 centerback def staying. Just need a striker now, a recognised dm and a settled back 4.

I'll miss Eriksen, he's been pure class & always made everything look so easy.

He didn't have to come to us. He could've been like every other young, gifted player - sitting on City's bench or winning easier leagues year in year out. But he turned them down to join us & continue his development - whether that was the Ajax influence or not, I don't know, but for such a gifted player he always seemed grounded & humble.

It's a shame he leaves us with no silverware & on bad terms with many of the fans. I felt he suffered more than most once Dembele left, being asked to help pick up the pieces in what became a very poor CM. Most big names wouldn't do it, but he got on with it & took a lot of abuse in the process.

He's been brilliant for us & we'll struggle to find a player like him again for a long, long time.

Maybe we are all getting ahead of ourselves here. It’s still not been reported in all the tabloids and the more reliable sites.

I wouldn’t rule eriksen being here past the window just yet

Well if we have to get a replacement first he’ll be here until his contract runs out

Making Lo Celso permanent is Eriksen's replacement.
You didn't think we were gonna go out and get a whole new player, did you...
