Erisken has always sucked at dead balls, not the last 6 months in isolation. If anything, considering how we uniquely relied on him for pretty much the entirety of the last two seasons, whilst having spurs fans tutting at the slightest miss hit pass after another game saving assist or goal, after 6 years of exemplary service... I'd be questioning my motivation n'all. If you think he looked even remotely interested for large parts of the second half of last season, you're delusional. He went from being probably the single most feared set piece taker in the league to delivering consistently dross corners and free kicks (with a small handful of exceptions). I'm not saying he didn't put effort in (that's why I added "emotionally") but it's been plain to see for months that his heart isn't in Tottenham any more.
Not sure why you're comparing his situation to Hazard's, their entire team (or certainly the influential ones among them) downed tools when they wanted rid of a manager. Also Hazard stepped up in the EL final and played out of his skin, can you say the same for Eriksen in the CL final?
You're right, I won't. I don't hate the guy and he has been brilliant for the first 80 odd percent of his time with us, I just think his time at the club has come to an end.Respectfully I think this is mostly a load of bollocks.
And I think you should treat Eriksen with more respect.
But you won't. So whatevs...
Thinking somehow Levy will.Whoever wins the Eriksen roulette would get an absolute bargain!
This... Or DL taking a BIG riskI can't imagine we'd bid for Dybala or go for Coutinho without having already agreed something for Christian, I just don't see. It's not the way we operate.
I want him gone for his own good, he wants a new challenge which is fair enough - he's done a lot for us and been integral in our transition to one of the big boys. If he wants to experience abroad, fine - he could've done it without running his deal down but he did the same at Ajax too. At least in that case he signed an extension to ensure they received some compensation.
Moving to United would've contradicted what he said. £40m from abroad, to Madrid or Juve, would be the best for everybody imvfhoyboc.
This sounds very un Levy like, he'd never take on a risk this big. We're talking circa £150m risk if we include wages and transfer fees.This... Or DL taking a BIG risk

I was wondering if you were keeping and eye on here! Nothing as addictive as deadline ITK!
If I were a foreign club i'd be waiting as late as possible (their deadline, not ours) to lower the price. My worry is how this may impact moves for GLC, Dybala and the rest. We'll need to bite the bullet and get those in and hope we can shift Eriksen after our window closes. Whether that's something we're willing to do however...
Means we play with a weak hand. You don’t sell your house without knowing you are moving. RM must have offered 20-30 and got a knock back. They’ll surely push when our windows shut but happy to wait till next year when he’s free. He’s not a priority but a nice to have so takes away the urgency.
I'm sure I'd be a lot more respectful of him if we hadn't had the apathy for large swathes of the remaining 20%.He's been brilliant for %80 of the time but that doesn't deserve respect?
