Ok, so we didn't sign a striker in the window.

So surely lets just start Pav from now on, right?

If I have to sit through one more game with Peter Crouch in it I am going to have to axe myself in the head.

I agree with you. I really feel sorry for Pav. Yes he is a lazy bas most of the time, but there is no doubting his scoring ability. I don't feel Crouch can play up on his own with VDV that effectively away from home, when the pitch is stretched. His immobilty makes him isolated and verging on a liablilty at times. Pav may not have the workrate, but I feel alot better when a ball is played up front into space that he will be able to run onto it, something I'm not confident with when Crouch is up top on his own.

2 things.

1. Yes, play Pav.
2. Pav, pull your finger out and take the chance.

It's time now for us to REALLY (and blindly) get behind Pav, just like we did last season, and back him for another mini renaissance in his up and down Spurs career!

SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEERRRR..................

Harry will always pick his two boys ahead of him and Pav knows it. Tell Pav he will start every game from now until the end of the season and I think you will see him really step-up.

Really? From what I've seen of Pav he plays his best when he's been out of the team for a while and needs to prove a point. If he knew he was starting every game he wouldn't give it his all.

I'd like to see him and Van Der Vaart get a few games together.

He will be proving a point to any potential managers that want to sign him in the summer rather than a manager that picks 2 impact subs at best ahead of him based on nothing more than them being his favourites. Don't think the whole play yourself back into the team thing will work again with Pav as he has seen Harry won't stick by that.

pav is our best striker by a mile
the other 2 cant finish yet harry always picks them
i still cant believe we have not signed another forward
2 years on and we still aint replaced berbatov
we will never know what this team could of done if we had a world class forward in it

I think you just made a case why he shouldn't play.

Agreed. Harry swallow your pride/ nepotism/ favouritism/ xenophobia/ (delete as applicable) and play Pav, 3 -5 games in a row, min 65 minutes each with VdV.
