Obviously quite a lot of reactionary stuff today. With regards to the window with the restrictions that the PL have put themselves under with the window closing before the league starts I believe the rest of Europe hold all the aces with regards to transfers. We saw it last summer and I think we are seeing it again.

Starting to feel that way! Especially with the news that Dybala was leaked by the PR team.. they done the same for pretty much every transfer window for past 10 years! Leaking to the press that we are interested in this or that player who would be a great signing but knowing full well we have zero chance in signing them as we won’t cough up the money to sign them.
Wheelbarrows immediately spring to mind!

Some proper fucking drama llama's in here.

Just a bit.

I find it fascinating that some are in their most comfortable state in life in a heightened sense of panic. It must be exhausting.

Most of the frustration for most people having read a few pages of all the different threads stems from interpretations and not the facts of the information given to us. You can't get annoyed at an interpretation of information it's just fucking stupid to get angry because of your own theory, if somebody spells out bad news that's different.

I'll give some examples of reading last few pages of a few threads:

JJ has been quiet therefore that's bad news as he was quiet last year but the reality is the last thing he spoke about and didn't delete was being asked whether he was worried and he said "absolutely not"

Then earlier today Hercules said Confident Lo Celso and Sessegnon will get done and people interpret that as we won't sign anymore, just fucking deal with the facts unless he specifically says and no more stop getting upset because you've taken it and spun it in a negative light.

Theorise all you want but only react to the what people actually say not what you've concocted.

Honestly, each player thread should have 2 sections. One for all the negative, life draining, world hating, doom mongers and the other for those of sound mind.

They can panic the f*** out of each other until they’re exhausted!

It was nice to believe we can get Dybala but lets be real it won't happen come the end of transfer window . We haven't even secured Sessegnon let alone Lo Celso , Dybala is a pipe dream.

I think we’ll get Lo Celso and Sess in. I just don’t think there’s enough time left to do all the business we’d need to do to get Dybala in as well.

I'm actually getting tired of people making Dier and Alli the new scapegoats.

Both were exhausted and injured last year. Alli had to play a completely different role and yet still managed to produce at key moments. He is not only a top level talent, he is a big game player.

Dier may not be dynamic but he can play 2 positions to a very high standard. I'd certainly be gutted if sold either one of them.

Dier can play a third position pretty competently too, the one he played in most often when first getting in to the side. I think that versatility makes him a really valuable squad player. He also spent plenty of time on the bench last season without any fuss that I can recall, so I definitely agree with you - it’s unfair to scapegoat him.

Alli, for me, sometimes treads on that fine line between cocky and confident on the pitch, but sometimes that’s What you want out of an attacking player. They can get in the head of a defender and force them in to mistakes. Agreed again on his form last term - he wasn’t quite up to his previous level, but was by no means deserving of some of the criticism meted out.

Was from one of the itk’s in the itk thread yesterday evening
Cheers, I have been away until today, was it one of our ITK's?
Edit: Ok I found it, it was Ali Z although he said it was our PR that leaked it but not that they did it knowing we had zero chance of getting him as I read it anyway just that word is they leaked it. Mind you surely part of a PR team's job is to put out information, I'm not sure there's any certainty of why they did it even if they didi do it.
