Probably just me, but I'd rather Eriksen signed a new contract than signing Dybala.

I think the bigger point here is that if we're debating a scenario where it's either Eriksen or Dybala, we're going to be just fine.

God knows if we can get close to signing him, I'm personally not letting myself get excited without solid reports of some advancement on a potential deal. Though I will say that a move like this would of course seemingly be good for the team, performance-wise, but also for the stature of the club too. To attract someone so highly regarded would only increase the image of the club to other potential players also.

It is incredibly worrying that Poch seems to be persisting with. For a start we simply don't have the full-backs to play it, and it is absolutely not the best formation to get the best out Ndombele. I will be so disappointed if this ends up being our predominant formation this season.

I was dissappointed last season, if we sign GLC and Dybala with Ndombele already here.... I will find it hard to be dissappointed.

The we don't have the fullbacks to play it argument is true in the two preseason games where we're playing a 4th choice academy left back and our third choice RB.

We still have Aurier, Davies, and maybe Rose/Sessengnon to introduce to the side. Plus Foyth has only gotten 45 preseason minutes at RB. People have gone way to far off the deep-end regarding fullbacks based on two preseason friendlies where we're playing fucking Anthony Georgiou at LB.

To me comparing Dybala and Eriksen doesn't really make sense - they are such different players. Everytime I think about our potential signings I am really scratching my head to work out how we will play !!
