Given the state of our midfield i would say he would make a significant difference, regardless of how close to 'world class' he got.
Fine. But that's a different point. I didn't say he wouldn't be a good player, and even said he would later. Well done for the disagree

Or would Skipp, Winks and Hoijbjerg find threading balls through to him easier, because his movement is better than we currently have?
I watched the Man City Chelsea game at the weekend and it's no wonder they are where they are. There's always movement and people available to receive a pass. Watched our lot and they're static in comparison. Just hoping Conte can manage to get into their heads ?

Possibly but most of those 3's passing is very hit and miss at best. Skipp probably the best passer of the 3 but aside from a few good clipped through balls this season from Winks, Winks & PEH's through ball quality and consistency is pretty poor.

But I get what you're saying that better movement will open up more options for them to pass to and I do agree with that but ultimately we need more creativity and threat from the wing-backs, better passing from the CB's especially the outside CB's as Dier has already proven he can ping a pass and then we ultimately will need better creativity from the CM's or from at least 1 out of 2 of them.

Dybala would be an interesting one as he's mainly a n.o10 so he could play that inside right role very well and drift in behind and come deep, that would work well if we then had a RWB who had threat and creativity so would in turn open up more space for Dybala.

Any way you look at it if we have a sniff of a chance of a player of his quality we should go for it, especially on a bloody free!

But don't give him £500k a week Ramsey style wages Fabio, save some of those for Vhalovic ;)

Is there not some small image rights problem that made this deal nigh impossible before ? If that’s the case and nothing has changed than we’re not signing him are we

I would love Dybala at Spurs and to become a mainstay alongside a fit Lo Celso and Romano...........but every time Argentina play a game our squad will be decimated!

Maybe for Skipp and Winks yes, but Hojbjerg has time and again failed to thread through a pass to our attackers when its been very simple to do so. He should have no part in starting or creating attacks. Personally his only role in our club should be coming on after 60mins to keep things tight when protecting a lead.
His pass made the equaliser yesterday, just thought I'd point that out.

He's certainly got it in his locker - his passing for Denmark in the Euros was nuts - but he's so inconsistent with it. He's about as likely to make a pinpoint lofted through ball as he is to spoon it straight into the nearest bovril-drinker's face in the crowd.

Every player (well most) are capable of making a forward pass successfully every now and again.

He doesn’t do it nearly enough though. He can’t be relied upon to create consistently.

PEH has a part to play in any future success at Spurs under Conte but I don’t feel it’s as a weekly starter next season.

Depends if the club invest in new CMs or whether PEH can raise his game consistently.

Bergwijn scored 2 goals in a minute doesnt mean hes the answer to our attacking failures
Just pointing out you said he doesn't do it. Don't move the goalposts after he's proved you wrong on the same day you made the statement.
