is no one wondering who the fuck ND is that Herc mentioned??

Also: with Asensio out for the year, Real just basically lost a starting XI player for nothing. They need Eriksen more than ever, and have never been more likely to offer whatever Levy is asking. Should Eriksen leave, we’d have to bring in a legitimately world class player for the squad to be seriously considered improved. Dybala seems like a perfect candidate to be that player.

Not only does this announcement fit this scenario, it also will pressure Betis into bringing down the price. Everything fits. And it also explains why all this was released at once - right after press deadlines, the day of Asensio’s injury. Everything fits.

Feels weird typing this, but if the competition is indeed Utd and PSG, I kinda feel we have a chance. Could really see Poch winning him over with the Argentinian link.

Surely any PSG move would be dependant on Neymar leaving, which could roll on until the end of August. Utd have money but no CL and not a great manager. They probably only come in if Lukaku or Pogba leave also. Both teams are tracking Nicolas Pepe too.

I feel like Dybala would be an option for those clubs but Poch would really put on a charm offensive.

The only teams I don't see us competing with for players right now are Real, Barca, Bayern and City. Anyone else there's an argument that we are the squad to join.

Think it could possibly be a smokescreen for Lo Celso, but not on our end.
It would make sense that Betis have asked us to put out the info so they can say we've moved on from Lo Celso while they finish up their spending.
Good god I hope its genuine though:nailbiting:
It would also be a clever distraction - putting out a rumor about our ambition - just as that lot down the road are about to announce two underwhelming signings (considering the loan aspects of both).

Imagine if we were to get Lo Celso and Dybala, then went to war for the Falkland Isles again.

We would have Poch, Lamela, Foyth, Gazzaniga, Dybala and Lo Celso all going into exile at PSG until it was over, as Ossie Ardiles did in 1982 / 83!
