Top stuff, A&C. Met the man when I did the matchday hospitality a couple of years back. He still has those enormous hands - but then again what would he have done with them?

Big Pat was a gentleman....and a scholar! He was the sort of guy who can be excused for going to the 'dark side'! Like so many others, I do not know where to start......too many memories....not enough memory cells! COYS!

I don't think Pat went to the dark side because he wanted too, but because the board made a bad decision to go with Bobby Mimms (who?) who they saw as a younger contender for GK. Big mistake, and just one of many.

Pat was a legend, who can forget those one-handed saves?

yep A&C - Daines is who I remember too as Pat's 'successor' (an impossible task of course) - the nearest we got to it was the first years of Ray Clemence at the Lane
