Hi guys, was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm travelling over from Belfast on Saturday for the game, we usually always get the Stansted Express to Tottenham Hale but it isn't running this weekend. The other bus/train options leave it very tight for us to make it in time for our return flight. So we are considering hiring a car for the day. Anyway, anyone else on here done this before and if so, where is the best place to park? Thanks in advance.

Used to park at the Power League 5 a side centre on Willoughby Lane for a small fee.

No idea if you still can.

You most definitely still can....it's £8.....about a ten minute walk for WHL......and you get out really quickly after the match and miss most of the traffic.
And it's about five minutes closer than IKEA.

Yeah the reason I used to park there was how I missed most of the traffic after a match.

i park in ikea, it's a bit of a trek(15-20 minutes) i guess but it's a lot easier to get away from than if you park nearer the stadium.

Cheers all, I heard that Ikea had caught on to people doing this and had started clamping cars. You park there often Blake?

yeah, near enough every home game and not had any problems, i usually get a bite to eat in there beforehand so i don't feel guilty for taking a space :p there's usually loads of room anyway. i was a little worried when going to a night game before as it says they lock the car park when they close but i asked one of the staff and they said they actually don't, it's just there to put people off from leaving their cars there.

I park a little but closer than Ikea and the football pitch, it's a fiver and the traffic is ok to get away from. There's loads or people doing parking as you come closer than ikea, they normally get more expensive and you will queue more on the way home.

Irish Centre in Pretoria Road, opposite WHL overground station? Get a good pint of the black stuff there too.

I just park on any of the side streets west of Great Cambridge Road. It's about a 15 minute walk, I've never had trouble getting a space there, you definitely won't get clamped (assuming you don't double park of course!) and it's right by the North Circular so avoids most of the match traffic. If you're coming from Stansted though you might want to park east of the parking restrictions as it might save you about a 10 or 20 minute drive if the traffic's bad. I can't help you with that side though.

So where do you park then?

I always park at the North Middlesex Hospital. Its cheap, right off the north circular so easy to get to, always loads of spaces and just about a 15 minute walk to WHL. Postcode N18 1QX

Thanks again for the help. How long does the walk from North Middlesex Hospital to the stadium take? 15-20 mins say?

When i've gone down with my Dad we've always parked where the Tottenham Hotspur ladies play, which cost about £8. I'm sure someone else will be able to tell you where it is, but as I don't drive I don't pay much attention to where we're going
