Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but i trawled through the first 784 threads created since yesterday and couldn't find anything....

Anyone know if there will be a parade? I know it's only a league cup, but fuck it. It's a massive win and could be the start of many a good year. If West Ham can have a parade winning the fucking play offs, then we can have a parade winning the cup against Chelsea, no?

Also, i think it'd be great for Ramos to experience something like this over here.

So, does anyone know anything about it? Has it been ruled out already? Would you attend? Do you think it's a bit much considering it was only the league cup? Where are my keys?

Surely there won't be a parade unless we win the UEFA Cup?

Think having a parade after winning the League Cup is a bit much ...

We have more class than West Ham.

No parade unless we win the UEFA Cup IMO.

Its not hard to have more class than a gang of pikeys.
No parade unless we win the wafer cup, otherwise the embarrassment would make my arse twitch.

But Bernie Kingsley, of Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust, said: "The last occasion I can remember a parade was when we won the FA Cup in 1991, which was on a Saturday, and then you do the parade on a Sunday. It's probably not a big enough event that people are going to take a day off work to get involved."

He added: "I can't remember having a parade for a league cup in the past. If the club decided to do one then I'm sure they would get a good turnout but I don't think it's top of people's agendas."

I disagree. Not having a parade for the CC panders to the notion that it's a Mickey Mouse competition.

Parades are good. Two parades are even better.

I know where you're coming from but we'd be laughed at in the same we were for our DVD last year.

I'd prefer till we win something more tbh.

I'm sure Arsenal and Chelsea would have held a parade. After all, the Arse must have all those road closure signs they had ready for the celebration of their CL triumph three years ago gathering dust in storage somewhere.

There really is no comparison with that absurd DVD.

Just to put some 'official' talk on this, I rang the club today and was advised that it was highly unlikely because we're not at the end of the season. If (or rather when) we've won the UEFA cup, both will be paraded together.

I had today booked off as I thought something may go on for the win but meh meh and more meh.

Whenever it was, if it happened, I'd be there!!

I seem to remember there was no parade in 1999, but I did go to the next home game after the win (a 2-2 draw against Chelsea where Daveed scored a cracker), and the team paraded the cup around the pitch after the match. Perhaps something similar after the next home game would be good? Or at the West Ham game to rub it in their faces!

Perhaps the fans can have their own unofficial parade by gathering somewhere before the next home game and then go marching into WHL.
