Banana Skin written all over it. Palace have the ability to pull off a shock result on their day. I expect Jose to play cautious and we grab a 2-0 possibly 2-1 win.

Whilst I agree on the potential of a banana skin, I'd like to see Jose be a bit more ambitious & play both N'Dombele & LC to give us more creativity & give them more players to be worried about.

I anticipate this is going to be more fickle of a match than we realize. I certainly hope we change our shape to be slightly more offensive but this team is going to position for a moment for Zaha or Eze to get fouled in an area that causes trouble.

IMO, today is as important as the next two.

Moitas grazas, coma sempre, pola discusión do partido @Bulletspur

Got it in before kickoff. Phew! That's Galician. Spoken by about 2.4 million people (I'm not one of them) and stems from a language from which Portuguese is also derived. This common language ancestor is called, rather cleverly, Portuguese-Galician. You've got to hand it to those linguistic historians, they're shit hot at coming up with names!

Could be quite a test for Aurier today since their first aim will be to get Zaha running at him. He'll need Sissoko helping out IMO,

I think Sissoko's entire game will be spent shadowing Zaha.

I'm waiting to see which player Mourinho sends down the tunnel first to get Sky/B.T/Social media talking first.

not got a good feeling about this one.. this game has the feeling of a typical Spurs performance of bringing us crashing back down to earth after our hard work and decent disciplined performances over last few weeks against the fellow top 6 teams where most people expected us to drop more points than we did. Really hope they prove me wrong!

Also first game Palace will have fans back for will make it harder. Be typical that fans are allowed in the ground for today’s game.. then by time they play Liverpool next weekend be back to no fans if London enters tier 3 this week.

As always with Zaha got to be careful when challanging him in the area with his keenness to dive given the opportunity.

For me...If we are serious with competing for the title-each game is a test and pressured-Its Jose job to remove this. Im not sure if we are being taken seriously which I feel helps. Lets see how we cope with todays game and the way we look and play. Are we real contenders or just the great pretenders.

I dont think losing today makes us any less of a contender - teams will always lose games it happens. Obviously you dont want to lose too many but I appreciate losing agame can put seeds of doubt - I guess its about timing of those losses. I remember a couple of seasons where we had to beat Wolves etc but lost at home 3 1 - its about the manner and the timing of the defeat

Chelscum losing yesterday doesnt make them any less of a contender in my view.

Yeah, I expect Bale to start in this one. For one, as you said, this is the game where we have a bit more possession and need that extra bit of guile. Second, I think it's time, and Jose recognises this is an issue the media (and fans) will continue to focus on.
Jose doesn’t give a monkey’s what “the fans and the media” focus on. He’ll select whoever he thinks maximises Jose’s odds of kissing a pot in May. Bale doesn’t track back as much as the other players in that position so it’s unlikely he starts IMo

I never thought we’d be going into game number 12 top of the league, it’s truly amazing! Unfortunately if we drop any points today I’m going to massively overreact about how we’re Spursy again and insult any player I feel the need to and may even question the manager. The good news is that I’ll be back on board the hype train after the next win. Sorry guys, that’s just where I’m at atm. COYS!

Interesting to see how we go about this game tactically today? Would be nice to see us dominate the ball/game a bit more vs a so called weaker side

Palace result will really be a good indicator on if we have put the Spursy tag behind us.

We always use to lose to bottom or midtable teams after a string of good results against the top teams. Be nice to see if this changes

This is a bigger match then against liverpool in terms of gauging how good we are
