Games like this just really have me thinking I have no expectation for this current set of players. Got my hopes up after seeing the lineup and they played exactly the same or worse than if Dier or Sissoko were in the middle, at least in the first half anyway.

Only plus was Ndombele, but the more I watch this team the more I feel the likes of him and Kane are just wasted being surrounded with what they currently are.

If we don't drastically add to what we have we will only get worse.

I thought it was an entertaining game tbh. Yeah a win would of been nice, but we didn't disgrace ourselves. !st half was a bit meh, but in the second we really played with intensity. A few more training sessions and some of those thru balls will come off. Love N'Dombele. Brilliant footballer

we're a couple of players away from being consistent. namely someone to boss that gaping space in the middle of the park that keeps seeing us concede cheap goals and anyone but fucking Aurier. Not as bad as you all think. we will still finish top four but only if we invest.

Never want to see 3 at the back ever again. It didn't work for Poch and it will be exactly the same under Jose.

Three at the back against Norwich doesn't work, it doesn't mean you never use it against top quality opposition and depends on what players you play in that formation

Must be just me but I thought the 2nd half from us was decent.

If we started the match with the same intensity and formation as the second we would have won it comfortably.

We are fucking shit seriously. No urgency at all. Sessegnon playing within himself completely and offered nothing. Alli, absolutely terrible. Lo Celso was disappointing. Foyth just lol.

So many back passes I couldn't take it. Awful.

Sessegnon looked scared, like he needed permission to attack, pass or cross.

Moura showed good energy and drive for 10 mins but then completely forgot how to pass the ball.

Ndombele was very good and grew into the game.

Lo Celso tried but didn’t pull up any trees.

Eriksen scores (via a deflection) and had a lot of the ball but did fuck all with it and his corners were a disgrace.

The rest were shite.

Some seriously hysterical shit on here today. Our defending is a real, real concern but the second half performance was good and we showed mental strength to come back twice. I think they only had one attempt in the second 45.
Not saying that should disguise the shit result but perspective is needed.

Must explain why Dele seemingly runs through treacle when through in goal or suddenly can’t hit the ball any harder than a 8 year old girl at times. The image of the circus defence must be playing havoc!

Fans are fickle. That performance was no better or worse than what we've been doing of late against the lower sides. Previously we've got narrow wins, today we were held to a draw. I haven't seen anything to change my perception of were this squad is at - not Top 4 quality, but in with a slight chance because there's only three teams who are right now.

Agreed. Was so looking forward to seeing Ndombele and Lo Celso in the same side, bonus with Eriksen in too, creativity galore you would think! Same slow pedestrian bullshit. Massive fundamental problems in this side.
