I'm voting for Poch out if Mourinho can come in at the moment. But, I don't like Mourinhos communication and behavior off course. And my question is: Do some players like him? It's against common sense and hard to belive that Mourinho can motivate anyone, but his results speak for itself and is unquestionable. But I somehow find it strange.

Jose has been around long enough in the PL to know that we won’t spend as much as United , although Levy has loosened up the purse strings a little, in recent times.

Levy, I’m sure, is also aware of Jose’s 3rd season syndrome.

If Levy and Jose can come to an agreement with a two year contract (and a possible one year extension), I think that may suit both parties.

Jose seems eager to get back to Football mgmt and may have a different attitude/approach as he had at United. He’s a proven winner and I think the players in the squad will respond to him in a more positive way, especially so for the older players who may think that this may be the last opportunity for them to win silverware under a top manager.

Eriksen will leave but I think Jose may be able to persuade Toby & Jan to stay and may yet get the best out of them. Hopefully he could improve Dier, so that our need for a DM is not as great as our need for replacements at both FB areas.

Christ if I can put up with George Graham as manger then I can put up with anybody. Does not mean I not would feel a bit dirty every time we played with Mourinho in charge.

Assuming that Poch is about to get sacked, which there is little to suggest that it's about to happen. Not that I'm not concerned like everyone else is.

Jose doesn't improve players generally. He buys ready made at top prices (often very badly). If players are on the decline he doesn't turn them around - he splurges the cash. He doesn't develop young players either. He's a tactician, not a coach IMO. He didn't improve anyone at Man Utd that I can think of and he alienated quite a few as well, He brought in Lindlhof and Bailly for Smalling and Jones as an example. Can't see him getting much more out of our players. Can only see him demanding a massive transfer budget and throwing a sulky strop if he doesn't get it.

I’ve just been reading about Mourinho and his time off, the jobs he’s turned down while waiting for the ‘right’ one to give him his fire back. A job where he has the challenge to meet his own expectations. A job where he wants to connect with the fans, create history. He’s changed his technical staff, he’s been delving in to different ways of playing, different ways of managing players too. I can’t say that it doesn’t interest me to see what he could achieve here. We have the squad, facilities, stadium etc etc, but we’ve always come up short for the winning.. Going back 10+ years, we were a sleeping giant, I believe that giant is now fully awake, hungry, and ready. He’s gonna need some strong guidance first tho.

yeah, I’d be interested in Mourinho.

I cannot believe this thread is still speculative. Ruthless Levy isnt ruthless anymore when we need him to be. Absurd. Poch isnt turning this around. Every day we wait is a day lost for the next man up to work with this squad.
