Just like we're going to deny having approached anyone, perspective managers will also play down prospects of them leaving or even wanting a job. Why show your hand so quickly?

Isn't Paratici's appeal Wednesday? If he is cleared I bet we see more solid information coming out. If not, it could be a long few months.

And wasn't that due to Poch being stubborn wanting Tier 1 players and Levy not being willing or us indeed even being desirable to Tier 1 players? That will be an issue that remains.

Got fed up of all the N’jie’s and N’koudou’s didn’t he. Only so long you can put up with that.

After thinking about it, I wouldn't be mad at all with Enrique tbh.

Seems like a good mix between a 'big name' and attractive football.

It's also widely reported he wants to stay at a club long-term and build something - which is ideal for us!

That’s great news!

If anyone wants me to find and then copy and paste their onions on Enrique just drop me a PM stating wether you want what you said during the first, second, third or fourth time his name came up.

I’d like my view to be the complete opposite every time we are linked to him please.

Would like to think that we'd already been sounding out managers, not only now deciding to approach a manager that's out of work.

I can't really believe that we've just been sat with our thumb up our arse for the past few weeks...surely?!

Part of me wonders whether this is to tempt Chelsea towards Enrique / rush their appointment process. Well known that their two top choices are Enrique and Nagelsmann so if we really do want Nagelsmann as our top choice then leaking something like this could be a sneaky move.

Enrique is massively underrated on here for some reason. Associated with short termism when there is nothing to suggest he wouldn’t be willing to stay for a while at his next club. He’s younger than prototype project manager Ten Hag ffs. Coaches high pressing possession football (and before people say it’s boring, it’s how Pep’s City play and they are the best club side in Prem history) which is exactly what we need. Has an aura/stature to excite the fans and command authority in the dressing room. Top appointment.

Like being linked to Tuchel forced Bayern to sack Nagelsmann?
Yeah nah, that's just wishful thinking.

We're stumbling around reactively again.

Matt Law also says in this that the club declined to comment on our manager search until the outcome of the Paratici case is clearer.
So how does he know we’re planning on talking to Enrique?
Looks like nobody knows what’s going on and are guessing.

We have a winner!
