Yes? You wont deny he prefers to sign order, more experienced players? He signed Godin and Kolarov at Inter as his centerback signings, both over 33.
Lenglet had just turned 27? Hardly on his last contract

We are 9th in the Deloitte football club rich list in both income and club value, and the fact that we have managed to bring in Conte and Mourinho reflect that. Whatever they did here they have still been Elite managers that you'd expect to see at one of the richest clubs. Of course you'd expect us to be behind those above us in those lists because those above us win trophies regularly as well. We have also paid those managers extremely well easily matching or surpassing most of those clubs above us. We have arguably the best stadium in the world, and also the best training ground. Other than the playing staff we operate every bit like the biggest clubs in the world, and it's bizarre how we are so far off as far as the football side of things are concerned. We should be on their priority list, maybe not in the same bracket as those above us but then perhaps we shouldn't be looking to compete with those clubs for managers.Surely we have realise where we are in the food chain though right? If we are looking at the top table for managerial appointments then they will want to see what else is available as we won't be on their priority list.
Of course we could go for a young a up and coming manager but Levy seems to go for the names first.
I suggest we forget all of it entirely and go to the pub.suggest we all forget about the next manager for a while and prepare ourselves for another scatter gun approach in the summer.....good times!
Mason won't lead the team to anythingIf we end up hiring a "project" manager in the Potter mould, by all means give the job to Ryan Mason. Especially if he leads the team to the top-4.
Everyone who was worked with him talks highly of the guy. And he knows the club and players (and the Premier League) inside and out.
In any case, Harry Kane's vote of confidence is the most important. For any candidate.

Thanks Mystic MegMason won't lead the team to anything
Nagelsmann looks like Jamie O'Hara tho which is much worse tbfBecause he looks like a shark
I don't need to be mystic , Mason is not the managerThanks Mystic Meg
In my opinion, if we were to identify additional coaches that bring what Nagelsmann brings then Arne Slot would be the #2 contender. We are 9th in the Deloitte football club rich list in both income and club value, and the fact that we have managed to bring in Conte and Mourinho reflect that. It's simple for me, straight up offer it to Naglesmann(if that's who they want) and if he says he needs to wait until the Summer to think about it, move the fuck on. If he says yes but I want to wait until the Summer to get a fresh start that is different, and I'd get the contracts drawn straight up. Fact is though If Naglesmann is the preferred choice then whoever is next on the list should be of a similar style and Philosophy, and not someone with a totally different ideology of the game, that needs a completely different squad of players. That's what we've done for far too long now and it's why we've ended up with a plethora of players no manager wants to use.
Fact is with all that said I doubt very much that's what we will do. We'll go for Naglesmann and if he doesn't come it'll just be the next biggest name out there, regardless of how they want the game to be played.
Hahaha one of them I see.
Well usually he thanks the manager and staff when they leave firstly.
Secondly acknowledgement of the fans should come before, in my opinion.
Oh and here's one for you. HE SACKED A CUP WINNING MANAGER 5 DAYS BEFORE A CUP FINAL TO APPOINT A 29 YEAR OLD ROOKIE BECAUSE HE WANTED TO REST HIS 11 FOR A LEAGUE GAME!
"fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me."
If you’re going down that road I’d like to think it would be Kompany or Carrick (but it’ll never happen and our fanbase isn’t patient enough, especially with our lack of success/trophies over the last 22 years)If we end up hiring a "project" manager in the Potter mould, by all means give the job to Ryan Mason. Especially if he leads the team to the top-4.

He wont leave before the end of the season and he has an expensive release clause which is currently €20mil, it does go down to €15 mil in the summer but that still a lot. Good manager, although still a little defensive for my liking, but ether way I really don't see us prioritising him. Maybe if summer comes and we haven't got anyone else then I could see it happening (although i really think the release clause will put Levy off) but I really think we would still prefer to bring in a manager now.Amorin would be the smart choice imo...believe also speaks good English,
Whomever it is doesn't overly bother me as long as it looks like we are doing it for the right reasons, and it's not just a status boosting figure head with no intention of giving them what they require. In my opinion, if we were to identify additional coaches that bring what Nagelsmann brings then Arne Slot would be the #2 contender.
That's the thing though, that shouldn't be a breaking point if he was the ideal man to fit our ideology and purposely assembled squad. He wont leave before the end of the season and he has an expensive release clause which is currently €20mil, it does go down to €15 mil in the summer but that still a lot. In terms of realistic targets, assuming we want someone to join now, I can't seen anyone other then Poch (although he's probably going to RM and ITK have said he isn't an option atm), Gallardo, Enrique and maybe JN. Amorim, De Zerbi, Slot etc, regardless of my opinions on them, they wont leave now.
