I think you've misread it or I have. There have been loads of names put forward including Galtier so depending who you talk to they'll have a different name to give you.

As for Naglesmann my understanding is that if he agrees to come be it now(preferably) or in the Summer he's the one. If he says he needs time to consider his options we move on asap.
Yes that makes sense, I guess I've just read it completely differently to you.

In which case, let's hope Nagelsmann is ready to commit, because I'm not a fan of Galtier one bit. I have a hunch he will commit and we will get him, but I guess we will find out pretty soon one way or another.

Galtier not a name I've heard once, but like you say, we will all be given different names.

Well there's only one person who can screw it up so let's see.

He didn't just say he wanted to leave, he specifically said he wanted to join City, the betraying in Poch's trust/stabbing in the back had already happened.

Ok we’ll not in those quotes from Poch, he didn’t, which is what I’m responding to.

I don’t see how it works if he agrees to come in the summer.

The way I see things, he either signs now or we move on.

No way we would announce that he’s gonna start working in the summer. Without a signed contract, we’d be relying on his word, which we would be daft to take. Other clubs will come in between now and the summer and offer him a better package.

As of now, I believe JN is the #1 target. If that can’t be done, it’ll be toss up between Poch and Enrique.

If we leave it to the summer the only other options may be Glasner, Slot and Amorim.

In keeping with JN’s style and status, I consider Amorim the next best thing and he won’t wanna leave Sporting in the middle of their season and EL run.

Levy can sell a project, it's helped us get Jose, Conte and various players (and it's hard to praise him but it is true) He must know Nagelsmann is his best bet to try and get his / Enics reputation improved with the fans. If Nagelsmann is genuinely interested then I'm actually optimistic it'll happen (yea I know I'm 40 and I still have some optimism left in me)

You can give Levy a lot of shit but two of our last three managers have "earnt" ten figures per year. He definitely doesn't scrimp on this.
The reason for that is he believed that by paying an “elite” manager big bucks he will save money on transfers for players because they will get more out of the players they have.
Guess that didn’t go according to plan

Probably won't make a difference but you'd hope the fact Levy's openly a massive admirer and has already tried to bring him to the club twice works in our favour. He's already seen the new stadium when Leipzig came to town and I presume him and Levy have already spoken in the past, so maybe that makes the dream slightly easier to sell if some of the groundwork has already been laid?

At the very least means he's probably thought about the prospect of managing Spurs in the past, rather than us just catching him cold.

Nagelsmann is younger than Neuer
Only 2 years older than Mueller
He was younger than Lewandowski at the time.

Shows that he may have had an authority issue with these guys and the hierarchy didn't back him over that.

I think the way most people are discussing it, “agrees to come in summer” = signs a contract now with a delayed start date, not leaving it until summer to decide.

Was just looking at some of the stats around Bayern's games this season.

In the majority of the draws and defeats, they've actually been very dominant. Lots of shots and possession, so it certainly doesn't look like they've been 'poor' or 'tough to watch'

Yeah I get that but has that ever happened in recent years?

Guy has been at Chelsea 5 minutes, massive changes at board level and players thrown in. He's a project manager so he needs time. Brighton were playing fantastic football mate, huge majority of my mates are Brighton and I go to a lot of games for the crack. I mean he got them to finish 9th last season and had them in 4th when he left for Chelscum. Lets not re-write history here.
Hmmmm look I watched a fair few of their games too. Maybe live is different.... but no exciting they weren't...atleast for me. Do you remember those XG discussions that was 2 years ago when we ended up with Nuno instead. Every Potter disciple on here swore he just needed proper strikers... now De Zerbi hasn't brought in a striker....but they scoring goals.

Look I appreciate you a fan perhaps....for me though... I hope Tottenham Hotspur give him a wide miss.

Obviously JN would be an excellent option but I’m glad to hear we would move on if JN says he needs time to think. I certainly don’t think we should sit around until summer hoping he doesn’t get a better offer.

Also if even just a name on a list Galtier makes no sense. I really don’t get why we would want him.
