OK, in a fit of most unusual niceness, which has me making an appointment with the Doctor, all of the idiots who got themselves excluded from this thread have been allowed back in.

See how kind I am.

The fact that i'm about to whack the lock button with my hampton has got nothing to do with it.
Praise Jebus!

No he doesn’t in any way in which you could be definite (on the assumption that you don’t know him personally or professionally) , you’re presenting your opinion as fact.
😂😂 ... naaahhh... I end my sentence with IMO and I write it doesn't surprise me... I happen to follow the Bundesliga closely. Every week... I live in Denmark and I read and watch a lot of Bundesliga behind the scenes. I go to games as well.

Nagelsmann is undoubtedly one of the biggest talents in football... He's clever, flexible, innovative, modern and a good motivator.

He's also stubborn and believes a lot in himself and his methods. There's nothing wrong with that as long as you don't lose your balance and forget where you came from.

He lost his way a bit at the end at Bayern. I've seen a couple of hot-headed intervews the last year from him. It's not much different to what Conte or Mou are capable of. When things don't work... and Nagelsmann has not had much going against him in his young career... until the last period at Bayern.

TO ME !!! ... he needs to come down to earth and maybe go back to a project like Leipzig or a club that needs a rebuild. But it doesn't surprise me IF he would go for PSG or Real... even though he has all the time in the world in his career.

I think the majority of us would have liked to see what he could do with us. But it's not like he's a perfect option... he could also go wrong... especially when you look at his personality and communication....
IN MY OPINION !! 😁

You disagree with almost every post I write anyway HedgieSpur... so it doesn't matter. Fair enough 😂😂

"According to BILD reporter Christian Falk, Nagelsmann didn’t have the support of the players anymore and many of his tactical decisions were being questioned. For a coach who lives and dies by his tactical innovation and fluidity, this essentially made the situation unsalvageable.

Raphael Honigstein of The Athletic wrote that the players had complained that Nagelsmann was “overcomplicating things in training, making too many changes during games and not communicating enough with them”."

As long as Ange gets us playing more forwards passes than backwards and we actually hold onto possession for more than 10 seconds, I’m in.

Did those posters last come in when we were chasing Nagelsmann? I look forward to the meltdown when they come in now and see we are getting Ange instead.

Who was the poster who called this about a week ago and said meetings were going on? Hats off to them

One thing is for certain, he’s going to have to adapt his tactics to suit our squad because he’s not going to be able to sign 24 new players in 2 seasons like he did at Celtic. The high press is going to need to be fine tuned to make up for Kane’s lack of mobility, the wingers hugging the touchline isn’t suited (Son and Kulusevski both like to come inside towards the penalty area) and the inverted fullbacks is likely something he’s going to need to bin too as we have a squad packed with wingbacks that like to get to the final third and put crosses in rather than make up more numbers centrally. Can anyone say whether he’s a coach that’s particularly adaptable with his tactics/formation? Because he’s really going to need to be

My god Matterface is a 24 carat **** isn’t he. He’s bad enough on comms, but he’s constant hectoring of Jordan here and his misinformed bullshit opinions really combine to make the kind of cocktail that induces instant diarrhoea and vomiting.
Ones a football man and the other is a wally

Anyone who has been following him, what's he like managing in games? Is he very vocal during a match? Is he quick to make changes? I think Conte was a bit too full on with his instructions and didn't allow players to play with a bit of freedom. He was also slow in making changes.

Biggest problem Ange will face is the fans. Especially if Chelsea are flying with Poch at the helm.

I'm intrigued to see what he can do.
Think that's more a Levy problem than an Ange one. Or maybe hope is a better word.

Spurs fans have to start separating the ring master from the performers. Managers/coaches being bullet shields for DL and the board has to stop.

Feels like our players don't respond to too much instruction nor dead silence. Need someone between a Jose/Conte and Nuno.

Saying Ange doesn’t have experience at highest level does a huge disservice to his achievements

It’s very very hard to break the glass ceiling being the first one. You can only show case your ability with opportunity you get

Taking national team to World Cup in Brazil , Asian Cup and a Confederations cup is a huge experience in itself. He won one of them in Asia cup , finals Sonny scored and Koreans were desperate to win.
Nearly won against the Dutch in World Cup giving them a scare, and a very commendable performance against far superior group teams in confederation cup

All these ups & down are also experience

Most here wanted Slot who till date haven’t had a down phase … no one knows how he will react when things don’t go his way.
Lets not forget - when we got into CL final in 2019 , Slot didn’t even managed one game in pro football

So let’s keep the context relevant when comparing managers.
International football doesn't involve a lot of factors that are involved team building.

No one here would say Southgate and Martinez are top managers

International manager now has almost become a specialism
