And why would we be so stupid as to do that in a way that allows any 'journalist' to find that out. I know we can actually be that fucking stupid but not that stupid, put it all together and none of it adds up.

I agree with you

However I think you both have forgot how stupid we can be!

'From one G: Nothing finalized. Getting closer to agreement with top candidate - some issues to resolve with him and with his current club. Still engaged with the next few choices on the list just in case, albeit not at the same stage as with the top choice.

From another G: in terms of how impressive they were during the process, the gap between #1 and #2 options is significant. Will be a big blow to the club if we have to move to the #2 choice.

Apologies for the vagueness of the updates. I had to edit the messages before posting them to redact some of the specific information. Sigh.

Understandable if COYSers would prefer nothing rather than something any Spurs fan could have cobbled together.

I do wonder how generic the interview questions are? For me, if I was Munn, I’d be asking stuff like, “How do envisage implementing a high pressing system that takes into account Kane and Son’s advancing years and need for their workload to be managed?”

it’d be fascinating to hear each candidate tackle something like that in detail.

When in actual fact the questions are more like “so how often do you feel you will be frequenting the cheese room? Oh and did you know we spared no expense”

It's JN.....where is that dancing banana!
1st post

2nd post

Quick, someone figure out how to work Banana into Julian Nagelsmann
3rd post

Whilst initially thinking Prof’s info rules out Nagelsmann, actually it doesn’t, he’s on gardening leave at Bayern, he wasn’t actually sacked.

Krosche allegedly coming towards the top of the DoF list having been at RBL at the same time as Nagelsmann could add credibility, especially with Herc’s comment about smokescreen, the uplift in Slot’s stories.

That said, I think I’m just clutching at straws and it’ll obviously be Slot.

Going by what happened with Enrique & Chelsea I wonder if he's #2 and not interviewing that well in the second phase.

Hmm. If (and I mean IF) JN was still possible, then surely given what we know of both him and Slot then there wouldn't be a 'significant' gap between the two. Which suggests one of them isn't a possibility, and that most probably leads to it being Slot as #1 and AN Other as #2.

Everyone jealous of United for hiring Ten Hag should know that my Dutch mates from exchange all are totally United behind the fact that Slot is a better manager than he was.

He just dropped 7 goals in an elimination Europa League match and is doing it with a very low budget. He is not rigid at all.

Arne Slot is the best we can get. He is a genius.
Almost exactly two months ago.

Aging beautifully. He is widely viewed as better than Ten Hag over there.
