Think you’ll find the old WHL has fond memories for many of us, so lots of nostalgia involved. I’d love to go back for one more game and for my son to see it. The old stadium is where we saw the glory. New place still finding its feet…but I prefer new place all things considered

Atmosphere at stadiums doesn't always translate in winning games , two of the noisiest matches over the last two days were Galatasary (Turkish stadiums have some of the loudest fans in Europe ) and St James's Park , both resulted in away wins.
Atmospere goes up and down with the opposition , Chelsea at home next will be louder than the Fulham game.
WHL was brilliant for many matches but lets move forward

After hearing that we had 12 non Spurs events in the last year I thought I'd look at how many tickets we sold compared to a full PL season (19 games) at the old WHL.

Tickets sold for 12 non Spurs events in the last twelve months: 597,672
Total PL attendance at WHL in 15/16 (last season it was fully intact): 679,741
Percentage of seats sold for non Spurs events versus total PL attendance at WHL: 88%

Given the improved food and drinks facilities and the increased amount of people in the concourses that number might reach the 100% mark in terms of overall spend.

I'd be massively surprised if it isn't a long way over the 100% mark. People coming for one-off events will spend more than regular match-going fans anyway (especially if we're comparing one-off events at the new stadium to matches at the old place). I'd bet that 88% from those 12 events is closer to 200% of the spend.

Overall, taking everything into account, we already know our stadium revenues have increased by 250% old to new.

Nostalgia is a double edged sword.
Been going for almost 60 years and it changed a lot thought those years. I was concerned about the vibe at the new stadium but there's no way round it it's the dogs bollocks, the powers that be done us proud and I love it.
If anyone needs a hit of White Hart Lane nostalgia on google maps street view you can still walk round the pitch.

whats the season attendance compared to EPL games last season?

also those non football events run for longer than 90mins so the food/drink revenue is likely a whole lot more

I love the new ground. So much better than whl, imo.

I'm not sure we have had a game like the 3-1 v inter, or the 2-0 v arsenal, when rose scored a banger.

However, the atmosphere has been excellent this season.

The new stadium is a better venue.

But I preferred White Hart Lane. Personally. It was like you could breathe in the history.

I loved that place. It was home and authentic.

I loved my old Ford Cortina, proper old car and i have great memories from it.
Not sure I'd want to be driving around in it today.

We needed a bigger and better ground and we've now got the best in the land.
WHL was great but it was old and pretty rubbish by modern standards.

We all loved White Hart Lane but it was time to move on , fortunately Levy only moved us about 100 yards north so the new place felt like home to me straight away .

It cost over a billion pounds. It was delivered late. But there's no denying that there is nothing like the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The gadgetry and optional extras dominate discussions to this day: so let's get that out of the way sharpish. Yes, there's an on-site brewery with pint cups which fill from the bottom and gastro bars are dotted around the ground. The football pitch packs itself away in the car park when the NFL comes to town – and there are specific dressing rooms for American football players, too. And you may have noticed that even the screens are mammoth: well, two of them are the biggest in Europe. The hospitality sections are state-of-the-art, as you'd expect; the pitch is lush and the seats are fantastically comfortable.
But where Tottenham have truly delivered far and beyond is in the giant kop end: it towers over London and is held by two giant tree-like beams, like Atlas's bare hands holding the sky aloft over the population. The concert-hall acoustics, enclosed corners and placement of the stands create a wall-of-sound effect: useful, for example, on Beyonce's recent Renaissance tour – or when tens of thousands of Lilywhites boom that the Spurs are marching in.
No one has built something quite so ambitious in the beautiful game: not even Bill Nicholson. The scale and grandeur of the thing is utterly breathtaking. And as the crown jewel of a redevelopment project in a corner of north London that was rioting 12 years ago, it's rooted firmly in its community; architecturally, in the fan experience. Might be of interest to anyone travelling from Finchley areas or Walthamstow areas , new fast bus route SLI that only stops at selected bus stops including The Angel which is an easy walk to the stadium.
Added bonus, USB slots on the bus , bring your phone charger cable for free electricity, top up your phone on route.

Since we built the stadium or are those jumps more recent in the last 6/12 months? Thought inflation was cooling!
