I don't believe you. It's been done to end the connotation of THFC and WHL for any prospective sponsor. Like everything with them it's the £.

we won't earn a penny if the station name gets changed, if anything it will cost us. TFL won't take the cost of all the map changes

We'\re paying for the station name to be changed, so we get a better naming rights deal.
definite troll, spammed my post then sent me a PM saying he was sorry because he had fat thumbs
edit: and now an insulting PM
Because if the station is still called White Hart Lane, it makes it more likely that in the long-term people will continue to call the stadium that. A naming rights partner obviously wouldn't want that.how would changing the station name = a better naming rights. the company that finally signs the deal won't get anything out of it
They aren't also changing the name of the road, White Hart lane runs right across to Wood Green. What's the reasoning behind them also changing the name of the road?

Surely the idea is to irradiate the link between THFC and WHL in order that a new name for the stadium beds in easier?

with us literally being where we was before, anyone with ½ a brain will know until the next generation of fans take over, the stadium will always be "the lane".

Are the any plans for the the exterior of the stadium to have Tottenham Hotspur Football Club written? Think it would add further identity.

the thing is, and I'm not defending him, but for him to mention he would pay for any upgrade, I reckon 1 of the zeros might of been an error. we only see that part, did the script follow on after @TheChosenOne screenshoot
