Anyone else worried about all these stabbings in the area. Sound like a wuss but going to the game alone tomorrow night will certainly be extra vigilante!

Our stadium really could be a disaster for the London stadium if we continue to pinch business off them.

It could, but if that causes the London Stadium to struggle to generate revenues off other events that could be the opportunity WHU are hoping for to buy the stadium outright at a knocked-down price.

As it stands I’d imagine that any gaps in the calendar for the London Stadium can be filled by adding in more concerts throughout the summer.

Anyways please ignore these comments as I don’t want to derail the thread.

I know Sky are televising our ‘opening ceremony’ but are they necessarily televising it live? The club want everyone inside as early a possibly so I wonder if it could happen an hour before kick off so as not to disrupt the players warming up(?).

There'll be 60k other people, if anything you should be more safe with the amount of policing and security. Went on Saturday and felt safe. Thousands walk up to Seven Sisters on that stretch of road at once. Probably safer there if anything.

Gangs fighting each other mostly. They're not going to be attacking random spurs fans. Especially when there are 62000 walking about with a large police pressence.

Info on Spurs website.

"We shall be asking for fans to take their seats for the match no later than 30 minutes before kick-off for the start of the ceremony itself. "

Bloody hell, they are over a mile away (at least) and on the other side of the North Circ. Unless you are approaching from that direction then there will be no problem. And by yourself also.

Miguel Delaney ( top journo) just said he’s blown away and light years ahead of the Wanda metropolitan.
Readiing the replies to that from oppo fans makes me laugh. They have zero idea at how seriously impressive it really is. Wait until they go and then they may start believing just how far advanced our ground is.

Levy special at 10 pm on sky. Looks like sky sports news will be wall to wall coverage all day tomorrow.

Yes but one of the attacks was near Seven Sisters tube last Sunday, doesn't look like gang related stuff looks more like someone with serious mental health problems making these attacks. Victims are various ages usual gangland knifings normally younger victims. Keep to main roads probably best advice.

Didn't realise the marketplace was open to both sets of fans.. that seems a bit optimistic to think there will be no issues.

It isn't - even for the U18s game the away fans section was blocked off to home fans trying to walk around the entire stadium on Level 1 so the Palace fans will be confined to the North East corner.

Much of that article is nonsense for visiting fans as it lists mostly things in the South/South East sections of the stadium which are home fans only. It even uses a tweet with an image of the North Stand for describing the single tier South Stand.
