Going to need to see a serious pick up in pace if this is going to be anywhere near done in time. Appreciate that a lot of the work will be being carried out internally, but seems there is an awful lot to do left for the roof and south stand.

Latest word is that it's bang on schedule.

There’s big visual changes every week. I try not to look at the webcams too often now. You don’t really appreciate the speed of the construction. Jump through the time lapse pictures. Beginning to see the final product for the first time and I don’t think they’ll struggle to bring this in on time.

Not directly stadium related but this news shows that investment is being brought to the area, which can only be good news.

Empyrean Developments has formed a joint venture with facilities management firm Polyteck Group to develop new homes and commercial workspace with a £50m GDV at Bernard Works and Norman Road, adjacent to Argent’s Tottenham Hale regeneration scheme.
The joint venture will see Polyteck and Empyrean work together to create 87 new homes and 12 ‘live-work’ units in the first phase of the two-part development. Alongside this, the duo will create 25,000 sq ft of commercial workspace, which has already been let on a long lease to social enterprise scheme The Mill Co Project.

To be honest Tottenham Hale has been developing for quite a few years now with all the student accommodation blocks, shops and unions. This just seams an extension of that.

Driven past tonight. I work in construction and it is a hive of activity. I would be amazed if it is finished in time. I would love to be wrong.

Tottenham Hale makes me laugh - used to have to get the train from there a fair bit and traveled through the area on and off a fair bit over the years, but from memory, just as they finished refurbishing the middle of the traffic island, next to the bus station is now, they dug up the units on the other side of the road. Spent bloody forever sorting that out, causing road chaos, soon as the final nail went in, they decide to refurb the entire bus station. Up comes the fresh tarmac for another twelfty thousand years then fifteen minutes after the first bus arrives in the shiny new station, they decide the shop units across the road need a spruce up, so they DIG IT ALL UP AGAIN!

That's not even touching the blocks that sprung up the other side of the river either. The entire area has been under construction since I was about twelve years old.
