Have we had an approx date for when the bowl will be complete? That's going to be a massive day. The first shots of the stands connected etc are going to be incredible. It's going to seem so real once the whole thing is up.

They are sticking in another back plate for the south stand right now...

Official site is showing some latest pictures and videos, the video "A Friday morning stroll" shows the south stand looking up from ground level in Park lane, I've not seen it from that angle with all the top steelwork in but you can get an idea of the curve of the stand and the overhang, it's going to look awsome.

Wonder how many will avoid getting tickets in that particular part of the stand.....
Actually that jogged my mind a bit. My underlying concern with the new stadium is that we get the seating plan right - that vocal groups of supporters are sited correctly (e.g. in the Kop) and that season ticket holders who have been close to each other will remain so. I'm a bit out of the loop having been living in the US for years now. Can anyone confirm roughly what the plan is for seating in the new stadium? Keeping a good atmosphere is going to be crucial.

The last back plate is in so effectively framework of the bowl stand is complete. Just the roof rim for park lane to be officially bowl completed. This time next week be my guess.

Can’t wait for when they start painting it. We’ll have a webcam to watch paint dry.

I did a quick drive down the high road on Thursday and pleased to say the refurbished/cleaned Bricklayers Arms looks incredible in the sunshine. I didn’t have time to nip in

Head of NFL UK on the radio saying that as far as they’re concerned the stadium will be ready. Always have contingency plans in place though. Tickets will go on sale in April. Some important bods going there next week. Talkshite - Andy Goldstein
