So happy for Ledley. Triffic player at his peak. We are lucky to have him.
Hopefully he can manage his knees alright. Best CB in the country at the mo.

this is great news for everybody - i'm delighted the player hasnt decided to be tempted like other greedy footballers chasing that one great big pay cheque & like the old British Airways advert used to say "we'll take more care of you" - in Tottenham Ledley trusts. If any footballer over the last 10 years has deserved a Testamonial when he retires its got to be King.

The realistic aim has to be to start and complete 25 competitive games each season. If he can start 30 games that would be brilliant. But if Woody can't prove his fitness we may need to dip into the market for an experienced central defender as we would be heavily relying on Daws not to get injured

Long live the king!!

Great news, such great player. Hope he can keep his fitness up as we couldn't replace him.

That thread makes me sad :-(

King is a legend and is still a top, top player for us. Long live the King!

richly deserved!!

dont think top 4 would have happened without ledley.

just having him around is worth it...but im sure he will play enough games anyway.

LEGEND!!

Woah, that's quite, quite shocking!! Eek

Guy's a bona-fide legend, a simply outstanding and gifted player. Should basically be given the keys to WHL for his own personal use, he's so integral to our club.

I know right

that is a tiny percentage of this site's population voting for no.

I neither looked at that thread or voted (obviously)

and it was probably at an emotive time (ie, right after Ledley went off injured for the second time in a few weeks leaving us a sub light)

i'm sure we all vent and make stupid comments after games haven't gone according to plan (admittedly slagging Ledley is V stupid)

I just hope Ledley goes on to play over 400 games for us, anthing less for such a ledge seems just plain wrong!

Tottenham Hotspur has only had two one-club players ever.

King Ledley is one.

Hands up who knows who the other was?
