my pal had a dinner do last night, and was amazed to be sat next to our very own woody!!!!
I am pleased to say, my pal says he was an extremely pleasant bloke and chatted footy all night. Even let my mate get away with coating stewie downing as a possible signing, not realising he is going out with his sister!!
He is loving it at spurs, and says nothing compares to playing for a london club. its a different level.
He didnt sign for newcastle mainly cos of keegan. Told my mate he thinks he "talks like a politician!"
Juande is working them real hard. They are training 5 days a week.
They are working solidly on set pieces. Woody is loving the freedom of coming up for corners. he wasnt allowed at boro. aparently in training he has "never scored so many goals in his life!!"
Juande speaks perfect english. he just would rather not chat to the press. Gus and marco very popular too and very good at what they do.
Ledley aparently is fighting fit.
he even asked my mate who he thinks should come and go in the summer. Was very defensive of JJ when my mate told him he should go. not so much with Robbo (asked my mate does he think we need a keeper!!) didnt say berba would go, but agreed with my mate if we get the right money and he wants out, he should go. Ekotto wont go as he is injured and lee probably will.
all i can remember at the mo.
