Always amazes me the rewriting of history - Saha did just fine as a short term back up. It was nothing to do with him that we fell off a cliff that run-in.

He's a very well regarded prospects with lots of suitors - so he's not going free or that cheap. £5m is a good price - if he had a two years left on his contract either Fulkham would say 'he's not for sale' or he'd be at least double

He is worth precisely the amount we will be prepared to pay for him now. We are not a charity, so whatever the amount will be is his worth surely with that amount of time left on his contract? I'm a dim person but even I can work that out.

Assuming none of us are football agents, how can we know? As already mentioned Saha, and Gudjohnsen before him, did a good job for us for half a season.
