I just hope we get that siege mentality mour
It's great to see the energy around the club again. It feels like a fog has lifted a bit. It's sad how it ended with Poch but if we do go on to win some trophies then he has to take some credit for laying the groundwork.
Absolutely! its great to see hope optimism around the place again. Poch has done so much to lay the ground work i just hope jose can now add that winning mentality. I watched his first training session vids and it seems like hes really getting stuck in, hugs with dele, earmarking tanganga out as someone to develop publicly . Son looked happy and had a hug with jose. I can see dele being a shithouse under jose if hes managed right. But its great to finally have a direction, a clear aim and not be in limbo with everything with players now having to prove thier worth to jose. Poch did all he could and more...ill be forever greatful to him, it was sad yes but i do admire the bravery of levy to change things.

Want - To get back amongst it with the best. Win some stuff. See different football to the sort Mourinho has dished up lately.

Hope - He attracts some 'bums off seats' players, and when he finally goes it's because he shoved a corner flag right up Mike Dean's arse (earning him a lifetime ban from football).

Expect - A decent start. A Mickey Mouse Cup. Mike Dean's ringpiece to remain in tact.

I just watched it - yes, nice to see some of the behind the scenes stuff with Mourinho. Yes, DL definitely deserves credit for taking a chance like he has.

Liverpool arent playing as well this season as last so I think 'getting better and better' is stretching a bit. They've been shit lucky as well. Man city don't look as good either.
Love to see Liverpool bottle it again. It would be pure Gold.

Well if they've picked up 34 points out of 36 being shit lucky imagine once they start playing to their peak.

I'm looking forward to going into matches with a tactical plan, totally shithousing teams and other players, shutting teams down and frustrating the fuck out of them.

One of the most impressive displays I've seen from a Mourinho team was when his Chelsea side beat City 1-0 at the Etihad in his first season, absolute masterclass

Looking forward to our matches against Man City, Pep vs Jose, they're gonna be fiery, tactical and intense, in fact we're gonna have more rivals than ever - we already are hated by Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham, Leicester don't like us either but now we're gonna be hated by Man City and Liverpool because of our new manager and the rest of the Prem will see us as a scalp, strong mentalities needed, I personally think our players will absolutely relish it.

This is Mourinho's first job since Inter where there's little initial pressure. As he did with Inter he's inherited a good, potentially very good squad and it's down to him to get the best out of it + some additions.

I see good times ahead :)

His first ever season? I think that was his first loss to Keegan's City, an Anelka pen; presumably you mean his second spell?

Having been completely swept up by it all, I want a win tomorrow, followed by the FA cup and Champions League this season. Next season, retain the CL whilst winning the league.

Too much?!

Want - to get back to winning ways. We have a fantastic team that on their day should be dominating a good chunk of this league.
Hope - for this to be the final hurdle for us in terms of becoming a top, top club.
Expect - Us to somehow break Jose, first club he manages not to win anything - as a friend of mine sent me by text yesterday -

what happens when an immovable object encounters an unstoppable force?
