I think it's just a case of Southampton having a set value that we need to meet now, albeit a very high one. They've probably shifted the goalposts to get to that value hoping they can hook us in further and further. Fair play to Schneiderlin, since his recent outburst he's obviously decided not to rock the boat. On one hand I respect him for starting the season with his club and not sulking, but on the other it makes me think that if he was that desperate to leave them or join us he'd be making it well known. I think he's happy to see where it goes. Perhaps he feels that if we and Poch value him that much then we'll put our money where our mouths are and cough up. If not, then he'll stay at Sotton as the big fish.

You're watching him in the second game of the season under a manger he doesn't want to play for. Don't judge based on that.

If Sandro going got DL trying to pull pants down on the last day written all over it if at all possible. Personally cant see it. Bentaleb can be as good with the guidance. MS wasn't great until poch and team sorted him out

Good news on MS from both Trix and Sir Goat! There seems to be a lot going on behind the scenes and also a fair bit of PR with this deal.
Watching todays match really showed how important the two CMs are to the way we want to play so I can certainly understand why Poch would want him so much. Not sure if our other CMs apart from the two that started today have the quick pressing and rapid distribution abilities vital to the system.

I think Demeble has a role - Capoue, Schneiderlin, Bentaleb, and Dembele would make for a nice group of CMs

With all the work @THFCSPURS19 has put in with social media updates on the on-goings of this player and others, I think he deserves the schneiderlin transfer more than anyone else!

Absolutely plus when Paulinho has had a good rest (he hasn't stopped for over two yrs) he can play a part as well as being able to play a role further forward at times
