Owen destroying the confidence of an apprentice keeper.

Owen "Yes! Get innnnnn!"

Southall: "Well done, he's 13."

Owen: "Game, set and match: Owen!"

:ROFLMAO:

Haha, i wonder why he never got offered a coaching job with the youth team at Utd? :joyful:

Reminds me of competitive dad on The Fast Show

That's really surprised me. From start to finish he acted like a complete cock.

He was good for about 3 or 4 years while he had youth and pace on his side... as soon as they went he was shit. Kept up the pretense of being a footballer so he could afford his horses. Tit.

He had about six or seven good seasons at Liverpool didn't he?

Edit - just had a look and he did...although he never managed to get to 20 league goals in a season which is surprising. Harry's already done it twice :)

I love that clip

Well done, he's 13 :D:D

I've got a lot of respect for Southall, he was an A-grade keeper and always comes across as a pretty reasonable fella in interviews. That one line was delivered with a pretty deafening silent "you prick" at the end of it.

Russell Grant has predicted that Michael Owen is 'quite likely' to say something interesting in 8 years time.

That video shows him to be a bit of a cock. I never actually rated him as a striker and preferred Fowler to him. That said you can't dispute his goals record.

He was ridiculous as a teenager at liverpool before he got injured. A real shame he could have incredible but with out pace he was just good.

People seem to forget how good fowler was before him.

Someone mentioned somewhere (can't remember where) that Rooney was best playing up top with Michael Owen. BBC have put a video up of Rooneys goals at 2004 and I never realised how integral Owen was for some of them.
