Find it a bit odd that people are actively contemptuous of him - he didn't leave us for Chelsea, we sacked him and then didn't call him.

I don't think it'll go well, personally, but I still love Poch as a man and I hope he succeeds elsewhere.

Gutted he went to them, I’d love to wish him all the best but I hope he’s gone by Christmas.

Not sure many find him contemptuous, just more a case if it goes wrong for him him there, the chavs suffer as a result. I loved poch and his time with us, but I hope he fails miserably at Chelsea 🤷🏻‍♂️

I must be the odd one out. I hope Poch’s Chelsea succeed at being second to us in every trophy this year.

I want him to have as much success with Chelsea as he had with us.
Hope you don't count reaching Champions league final and a few top 4's back to back.
Luckily though if he managed that at Chelsea he be sacked. Nothing against Poch.

Football is tribal , he has joined a hated opposing tribe.

They're scum and he is one of them.

Honestly... I don't care about him anymore... I'm already super excited by Ange... Poch... or Mauricio Pochettino is just another manager now. But the club he is working at is a f**@@*@@* ... club and a fierce rival. That's why I wish for him to fail big time...

i honestly look at it like seeing an Ex doing well, if I have a problem with it then something is wrong with my life.
For me that's true if your ex is going out with some random bloke.

If she's going out with someone you know is an absolute **** then the feeling's slightly different.

Nope nothing like that. Though sticking with your viewpoint you have to factor in that your ex will be daily around blokes you hate with a passion, then every week surrounded by racist thugs!

I think the sad thing overall, is all this moving probably indicates he will never come back. He is not a young manager anymore, so if he has success at Chelsea he is probably going to stay on there for a period of time, especially with such a young team coming through.
Whereas if he fails I think he could be in for a tough time with his Paris stint seen as not overall that successful.
The only way for him to come back I think would be for Ange and Poch to both fail very quickly and we could get Poch back in. But for me Ange will be a success, and even though I love the bloke (I don't actually mind him taking the job as he wanted a job in London and there are only a number he could take) I hope Chelsea crashes and burn!!!

Did people expect him to wait around forever, even when we had no intention on calling him? I hate Chelsea but it doesn't seem particularly healthy to be so venomous towards him specifically. It's fine if people want to be like this but you can't then expect loyalty from, say, Kane, given that we've shown loyalty is conditional and once you stop working for us we'll consider you scum.

I dunno, it might be because everything else is so bleak but I find the attacks on the guy who gave me the best year of my Spurs life just a bit depressing.

I think tribal rivalry is fine and to be expected. It's part of what makes football, football. Pochettino would be surprised if he didn't get any stick from the fans for making such a controversial move. It's not as if the rivalry with Chelsea dissolves just because our club owners decided to sack him and not reappoint him.

That being said, it's not as if we can take any moral high ground. We literally replaced him with Chelsea living legend Jose Mourinho and most fans happily celebrated that.

Ange and his team, views on football, personality etc... is why you feel good. And at the same time it looks like Levy and co. are pulling in the same direction and have had a clear plan with Ange.

I had the same feeling as you when Poch said yes to Chelsea and we didn't go for him... if we had continued to make the same mistakes as we did with/during Nuno, Mou, Conte... you would still feel upset and gutted regarding Poch 😊

It's all about decision-making and a clear strategy that fits our club. With or without Poch. Let's hope we've got it right now. That uncertain feeling is gone at the moment.

I want Chelsea and Arsenal to lose every game they ever play, and have the worst luck imaginable.

Doesn't matter who manages them. I want the very worst for Chelsea in particular, as they are the most vile "football club" on the planet.
