He doesn't, as you say the Scotland loan, you have to be 3 years with an English club. Wolves knew he would just miss out on being HG bit like how Foyth just misses out, so they let him move to Scotland knowing he would never count as HG.
I think it's possible that the Scotland loan doesn't effect anything as long as he is registered at a PL club I think it's fine.

Similarly, homegrown isn't three years, it's three seasons. before his 21st. So these would have been

2010-2011 Starts season at 18
11-12 - starts season at 19
12-13 - starts season at 20

So thats fine. because he was registered at 20, even if he wasn't 20 at the end of the season.

Foyth was 19 when he came so he missed out.

If this comes off for £15m, it will mean we’ve signed three proven PL players, two of whom will walk into our starting XI, for a net spend of around £16.5m.

And that’s before Serge inevitably leaves.

Incredibly smart business.

I understood your point but Premier league confirm he is HG

but I worry about Uefa rules
He can count Associated trained quota or not? Because he was loaned in Scottish league between age 19-21
like Ben Davies scenario

Does anybody seriously believe we can get this done at the prices being quoted and this quick. Hope we can because it would be great business. Will believe it when Herc,Trix or Igi confirm.

it was hinted at for at the minimum a few days but could have been a few weeks. the ITK was that we have our target and getting close to finalizing a deal.

Not sue how good this guy is if I’m honest

But he is an upgrade and doesn’t seem expensive, so a sensible buy

ben Davies is different because of Wales. Doherty was only loaned out for a few months. I think what matters is who holds his registration, so loans shouldn't matter. But I'll see if I can confirm.

All about improving the starting lineup and squad. If Hojbjerg has replaced Sissoko and Doherty replaces Aurier I’d say that’s a pretty significant improvement on two starting positions. I think the next decision needs to be in regards who plays alongside Hojbjerg, if Ndombele is leaving do we need to spend on another CM? Is Winks that starter?

We don’t have a backup striker so anyone half decent is improvement but I’d say squad wise an improvement on Lamela for the creative backup to Lo Celso could end up pushing us right up to be very strong contenders for CL.
We’re half way there in what could be a good window, really hope we don’t let ourselves down again.

I said this earlier in the window - you’re only as strong as your weakest link. Weakest link - Aurier and sissoko. Mourinho is sorting that straight away thank fuck.

thanks, as long as he stilled Registered with Wolves during loaned in Scot league would be fined

then He will be the 4th AT quota with us in Europa League along with Dele RS Harts (Assumes JC will loan out again) that mean we already fulfilled AT quota and not necessary signed another AT/HG quota for backup FC position

Very pleased with this bit of business if we pull it off.

Ticks all of Jose's boxes and is ready to go right off the shelf. If he can keep up his attacking ability from the last couple of seasons he will validate this lopsided formation more than Aurier did.

I'm sure Mendes has a few RBs he can chuck Wolves' way hence why the price seems so good. Wolves probably didn't want to stand in his way after 10 years of service.

Irish players have served us well in the past too.
