Okay, just got back from an evening with the wife at the Marriot Hotel Waltham Abbey, thought id treat her to a night out:grin: anyway, was a good night, food was shit but, the bed was a lovely bouncy kingsize:grin::wink:
On check in, there was a tall fella in tracksuit talking to a bunch of suited geezers, when he turned round it was the official Spurs clobber, and he looked like Pav. Couldnt really ask at that point who it was, as we had peeps snapping at our heels waiting. After a bit of lunch and testing the bed out, we went out to the pub round the corner The Volunteer, as we got into the car iand leaving the car park, we looked over to the hotel entrance, and he was standing outside, pissing down with rain, i said stop the car, and asked the misses to run over and ask if it was indeed Pav, ( i would of done it myself, but being disabled with MS its kinda hard). Before she had time to get over there a black MPV with blacked out windows pulled up, and the chance was lost. So she went back into reception, and asked if it was Pav, but they said they couldnt tell her.
Anyway the question is does anyone actually know if hes staying there, or if theres another player that might look like him thats staying there.
anyone who is thinking of staying there, highly recommend it, just dont eat the food, go to the pub round the corner, as you will also be able to get a nice cold pint.Having said that they do wine or champers, and bottled becks or buds. All in all worth the money, but who the feck was that player!!!!!!
