All feels like its a bit late to go on a mad spending spree and get some top quality players in. Although foreign clubs need the money so who knows and maybe everything is already lined up.

He has a HUGE job on his hands and I hope for our sakes he gets it right

Replacing Kane and Bale up top is going to be a big, big ask. And that's before you even get to the defence. Massive few weeks, christ.

We needed a CB before we sold the best one at the club. We need a proper back up or someone to play along side Kane if he stays, if he goes we'll need 2.

Right now, we are going into the start of the season weaker than when last season ended. We have a hell of a lot to do.
Didn't we buy a CB?

You forgot the midfield. Apart from all that, it’s all good .

Have to say he needs to get a move on .... one striker who doesn’t want to be here so basically we are going into the season with none..... right back needed ..... another cb and a cm ! Well prepared lol

Our transfer dealings so far have affectively been 1 in 1 out.

Not including Bale & Vinicius leaving, so we are actually weaker then last season, as our line up on Sunday will highlight & that’s not even including this Kane no show saga.

It’s an uphill battle the longer the window draws nearer to a close.

Definitely going to be a weaker team at the end of this window after Kane has been sold

All the optimists looking forward to the rebuild due a reality check unfortunately that we will be well short of where we would like to be

Just glad Paratici is in control of who comes in on the back of the Kane money. Not because I know anything about how FP works.....but because its not Levy.

I hope the impending Kane departure results in pulling the trigger on a prepared plan rather than the moment we begin planning.

If we're squad building 3/4 games into the season, plus allowing for bedding in time then the risk v reward equation is way out of wack and we've already lost ground

I suspect a great deal of the battle has already been fought but nobody made too much of a noise about it. Just over two weeks left and an awful lot of groundwork already laid. Once the spotlight moves away from Kane then the drama can properly unfold.

Time is ticking.....

I expected us to be busier this week. I understand the reasoning but cannot stand our last minute transfer approach (by last minute I primarily mean v the start of the season). Its like the club sometimes think the first few games don't count.

If the Kane deal concludes before we sign the players we want I'll be so disappointed

He has to be judged once the window is shut.

100% - but it just seems that we've left ourselves with a lot to do in 3 weeks.

However, I don't claim to know how Paratici operates. So maybe we already have signings lined up and are just waiting on when we want to confirm them.

Do you equate not hearing anything with nothing happening?
