From the 55th minute at home to Fulham to the end of the game away to Palace we had ONE shot on target. We had two shots on target for the entire Wolves match. If that was under Conte the majority of fans would be using those stats as a stick to beat him with.
So you're saying that Conte may have had a point about some of our players being shit, with a loser mentality?
Because when Ange had to use them, we went back to being shite.

Far be it from me to even suggest such a thing, but now you come to mention it...

I really feel for him with the players out. As long as we go for it and play that bold attacking football though I'm fine. The Wolves game was the first time it felt like the last few years. Hopefully he's a bit more positive this time with less defensive players.

Likelihood is we'll drop points again this weekend but I do think he'll hype up the reserve players and it'll be an entertaining game.

Which is more than I can say for Mourinho and Conte who would likely be moaning all the way through their press conference and then complain how they couldn't possibly be expected to get anything from the match whilst openly saying the reserves aren't good enough.

But it wasn't for the want of trying, and Ange expressed his disappointment that we did not stick to his plan. That is the difference.

Yep, I think either way he’ll have learnt lessons post game, about who he can/cannot trust.
Hope so. He needs to put trust in Lo Celso this weekend. Because a side with PEH, Davies and Dier, will always play on the back foot. They can’t help it.

The Wolves game was an example of how easy it is for this team to revert to old habits. We know the usual suspects. So, if attacking football is his religion, then he has to take some risks and put more attacking players into that lineup.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Sessegnon never plays for us again. Shame what's happened to him with the incessant injuries.
Injuries, confidence, form, skill. All hype and never lived up to the promise. Great Championship level player for Fulham. But not what we needed there, in many respects like Sergio Reguilon. Good at some things, not at others. Certainly not a complete player and for what we paid we should try and cash in and move both on.

Anyone got a rough outline of this, so I don't have to click on anything related to the Daily Fail?
It's an updated version of the previous interviews really but I read it and enjoyed it. You just have to hold your nose when you click on the link.
