Sometimes it could be an anxiety issue. It isn't everyone's tea to be speaking with camera so close you. I know he has done it countless times, but one could still be nervy with such moments. We don't see that often when he's in a wider settings with cameras further away.

I've noticed it in the spursplay interviews too but maybe a nerves thing, he doesn't look up much which would suggest he's not comfortable, although you'd expect he'd be used to it after all these years as a manager
