And since we are being litteral how about you tot up all of his 90 mins? And see if he literally missed half the season in mins played. Throw in 4 subs, and I bet you will find his percentage drops closer to 50%.

Id be interested to know which link is right though cos the 1 he posted has Rooney and Tevez as the best 2 strikers last year according to stats but this 1 has Drogba, Tevez, Anelka and Agbonlahor all above Rooney

Regardless of whether the transfer will happen or not I think Modric would be awesome in this Chelsea team. They are more powerful than any other side in the league but have a noticeable lack of guile when the likes of Drogba, Essien, Malouda and co aren't able to bulldozer their way through teams.

Luka would add craft and nimble agility to the impressive raw brute force they already posses. I guess its just unfortunate for them that the little man recently signed a six year deal with us, my heart bleeds for them it really does.
