We wouldn't know as he's never had a CB to rotate them with but I think he will make use of it, he is different to other coaches after all.
his defenders work a lot harder in his system so I'd imagine fresh players replacing them can help see out games

Might we really try for Kelly this window as well?

Would sort our defence entirely. Great if it happens. Just glad we have more than two recognised senior CBs capable of playing Ange's system in the squad at least. Baby steps.

Looking less likely as a sale right now. Has numerous possible suitors as a loan with an option. No one as yet willing to talk about a loan with an obligation. His preference is Juve, but they are strapped and we think less likely to take up the option so would prefer the alternatives. Clubs in Italy, Spain and Germany have shown/are showing interest.
Surely a loan, where he could go somewhere, potentially perform and increase his value...is better than nothing

Once Madders comes back, we look OK at CM IMO, in particular as Deki can play around there too. We have options. I'd rather he wasn't festering on the bench or in the reserves

yes I mentioned it maybe last week or before all parties trying for him don't have the budget to acquire him this window. spurs would want an obligation and a secured replacement for a loan with him entering the last 12 months in the summer.

This is totally fair enough. If there are no interested parties willing to take PEH on a full time basis, or with an obligation then we have to stick with what we have for now & look to change that up in the summer.

Of course, but if no buying club values him at that price then surely it's not a realistic valuation, whatever that valuation might be.
isn't WLB saying that Spurs, the potential buyer in this premise, matches the valuation of Bournemouth, the seller?

Very encouraging to hear that Kelly is 'desperate to join'. If that's the case, I'm 100% onboard.

The Lloyd Emile Hojlly thread. I'm here for it. Levy living his Harry Redknapp dreams this window. How long til we see him giving interviews out of a range rover window?

Bournemouth need another LB option I believe as Kerkez is injured and they have been playing Outtara out of position (as Kelly was also injured).

I wonder if a creative deal could be on the cards? Perhaps offer them Reguilon in a swap deal or £10m plus Reguilon on loan until the summer?

Iraola may go for it as he knows La Liga well and will be aware that Reguilon was a good talent in La Liga at least. He may feel he can get something out of him. If we do want Kelly perhaps that could be something we try?

A backline of the below would be an outstanding upgrade to the shambles of our backline the past few seasons.

Vacario
Forster

Porro Romero Van Der Ven Udogie
Royal Dragusin Kelly Davies

Then of course, Sanchez, Dier, Spence, Regulion and Philips all either gone or on loan. Wonder what happens to Sessegnon?
